Inspired from the swear word and nudity topics.

I can think of a few that come to mind.

In the Carnival episode of Rocko's Modern Life someone's thumb falls off and starts to bleed, Rocko's nose also bleeds in the fitness episode.

In the SpongeBob episode where SpongeBob gets the exploding pie from Squidward, SpongeBob is poking at Squidward's heart and it bleeds.

PowerPuff Girls had some blood in the intro of the show, as well as the actual show it's self.

Ren and Stimpy had some bleeding wounds in some episodes.

Maybe some Dexter, Cow and Chicken and I am Waesel episodes had some too I think.

I'm sure there are many more that come to mind

PS: Don't include PG+ cartoons please

Most of the DCAU shows have shown a little blood now then. Batman and Superman TAS were always good for a little bloodshed when they were both on Kids WB, especially the later eps of Superman with Darkseid.

G.I. Joe The Movie (and possibly the 5 part edited mini-series later on) had a very graphic scene of Duke getting stabbed through the heart with one of Serpentor's cobras.

In the first episode of Gargoyles (Awakening, Part 1), Goliath's hand bleeds after stopping a sword with his bare hand.

Gargoyles doesn't count... it was another day and age and they weren't subject to the same standard.

If you remember when Broadway accidentaly shoots Elisa with her gun, there was blood on the floor. That ep delt with the dangers of guns and imitating stunts on TV.

I'm surprise I remember this, but there was an episode of Rugrats in which Chucky touches a rose and his finger starts to bleed. There's also an episode that starts with Tommy getting a cut. I'm surprised I remember any of that.

X-Men: Evolution...Never had blood, that I can recal, but did get away with some massive bruising. Mostly on Cyclops. 'Turn of the Rogue' and 'Blind Alley' both left him beat up with very noticable scrapes/welts.

I don't know if this counts but in the episode of Danny Phantom known a Fright Night Danny got cut by Fright Night's sword and bleed green blood. I'll have to think of other times in Danny Phantom that blood has been added into the show, at the moment I can't.

I've always found it amusing how insects, tentacle monsters and anything else entirely nonhumanoid is allowed to be shot, smashes, and torn apart with as much gore as the animators can draw so long as it's not red. Shouldn't it still count? What honestly makes it different from any other animal "bleeding?"

This reminds me of the edited version of the episode of DBZ in which Piccolo gets him arm blown off by Raditz.

No end to the alien blood and goo on MIB the Series.

heck, Jeebs' head was lost on numerous occasions. I think human injury had limits.

An interesting thing--- Quick clones melted--- but when one of Jay's was sliced in half, it fell apart and THEN melted.

I liked how Samurai Jack got around that issue. By making all the creatures he fought mechanical, Jack was able to slice and dice them in a way that puts Quentin Terrantino to shame, yet all the viewer saw spilling from wounds and dismsmbered limbs was sparks and gears.

Rocko In Undergrads.

That was more of an adult series, though.

In the very first episode of Batman: The Animated Series to be broadcast ("On Leather Wings"), Batman was seen bloodied after his first brutal fight with Man-Bat. This was noteworthy because FOX-TV didn't want visible blood shown, even in the episodes that were broadcast in prime time.

I have't watched TUE in forever but I thing there's a scene in there that has blood. (the "things left unsaid' scene, I think)

I'm really surprised that there's no blood on Avatar... but I'm assuming that''s because it's more "realistic" and well, on NICK.

The Simpsons halloween specials usally have a bucketload or two in them. There's plenty of blood in the regular episodes as well when Itchy & Scratchy or Mc bain appear.

Actually, if I remember correctly, Zuko was bloodied up pretty badly in the season finalle.

The Simpsons is a PG rated show, it not exactly called sneaking if the network allows it.

There was at least one episode of "Rocko's Modern Life" where someone (Heffer I believe) got a very runny nosebleed.

I think I remember a more or less early 80s Hanna-Barbera Bible cartoon, titled 'The Greatest Adventures Ever: Stories of the Bible', or something like that. The David and Goliath episode had Goliath's forehead bleeding profusely when David's stone hit it, and then Goliath actually died on screen!

There is blood on the Beast's shirt (Beauty and the Beast) when Gaston stabs him, even if you can not see his wound. (It's rated G) Supposedly blood was added to the wolf scene in the Special Edition DVD.

Bubbles in the Powerpuff Girls (Bubblevicious) wipes away blood from her mouth after getting beat up.

As does Dexter's mom in a later episode of "Dexter's Lab" where she fights another lady in a supermarket over the last pair of latex gloves.

I remember Aladdin bleeding after taking a hit in "Aladdin and the King of Thieves." In the very next shot he's not bleeding however.

It's not something you can see easily. It's snuck in many episodes, but usually the image is really opaque and impossible to see without a pause feature. Apparently they wanted to do a scene where GIR walks into the house covered in blood. However, Nickelodeon wouldn't let them do that, so they just inserted the frame into certain episodes for less than a second.

Kaiser Ken whips Takeru in the face in the second season of Digimon. Takeru laughs and wipes away the blood, then cleans Ken's clock.

This was noteworthy because FOX-TV didn't want visible blood shown, even in the episodes that were broadcast in prime time. Before Warner decided to market Bruce Timm's DCAU as an older kid's series,he wanted to adult series (but no tv-ma stuff). But since then he tried to appeal to adults and teens bygiving the show excellent dialogue, realviolence, blood and from S:TAs or MOTP some deaths started to be onsreen.
