WWE has informally approached Jeff Hardy in regards to returning at the end of the summer. However, he must be clean, as there is zero tolerance on his drug issues. Friends are saying that he is working on those drug issues.

I enjoyed Jeff Hardy in the WWF/WWE up until the later part of 2002. If he returns and brings back the Jeff Hardy of mid 2002 and prior, I'd like it. If the Jeff Hardy we see is the one of late 2002 and later, then I'd say to forget the return. Thoughts?

I hope this doesn't mean Jeff will be a part of the new ECW.
Maybe there's plans to reform the Hardy Boyz. That could be the only positive out of this.

WWE has been in desperate need of tag teams, and this would be beneficial both Matt and Jeff. Matt has gotten the short end of the stick since returning, especially after gaining so much hype over the whole internet angle. Going back to the tag team division would be better than constantly losing in contender matches.
Bringing Jeff back would serve no other purpose. If he does return, they could always stir up the Lita angle again. She would be better off with the Hardy Boyz than getting insulted with Edge.

It should be noted that Wrestlezone stole this from Gerweck, who got it from the Observer. Jeff in WWE in small doses would be okay. Putting him in the new ECW is the absolute last thing he needs from a drug standpoint.

Jeff Hardy returning to the WWE would be great. The Hardy Boyz were absolutely awesome back in the day and seeing a reunion of both Matt and Jeff would make me incredibly happy plus it would help both men who's careers are currently at a dead end.

Woah, sweet WWE fans.
I think Jeff Hardy cleaned up from Drugs is one helluva in ring performer. Go watch any of the classic Hardy matches, you'll see what I mean. He needs to slow it down a little with the big bumps and lay off the painkillers. and god knows what else.
Good be a good thing, I'll reserve final judgement untill I see him again. He did good at first in TNA, but kinda fizzled.

If he's on the right track in his life I'd love to see Jeff Hardy back in the WWE. I was so upset when he fired back in April of 2003. I just hope he can handle it.

So wait, is he still in TNA or not? I still haven't seen anything about him quitting/getting fired/contract expiring.
If he cleans himself up and starts to care about the business again it could work. Outside of Monster's Ball at Bound For Glory I haven't liked the guy since his feud with the Undertaker.
