Tonight, Late Night With Conan O'Brien featured a segment on Pierre Bernard. In a "Pierre Bernard's Recliner of Rage" segment on the show over a year ago, Bernard complained about Stargate: SG-1. The creators of the show allowed him to come on for a guest spot. They did so again for their 200th episode.
In Late Night's video documentation of the event, they showed Pierre Bernard on a local radio show, where he complained about Adult Swim's airing of Saved By The Bell. In the past, he complained about Adult Swim replacing Cowboy Bebop with Case Closed.
Maybe the video will be on NBC.com soon. Certainly it's not, well, must-see TV. But if you happened to have it on, it was a fun moment.
Though I disagree about his opinion about Case Closed, I will say that Bernard does, in fact, rock a lot.

Agh, beat me to it. Yeah I saw that sketch. Good stuff. The whole time he was complaining about SBTB on Adult Swim I was like, "YEAH! You tell it!" :D

I think Cowboy Bebop and Case Closed are the only anime that NBC knows about.

Will this get rerun anywhere? I remember Conan used to get rerun on Comedy Central, but I don't think they do that anymore.

No they don't, but I think MSNBC still does.

Actually, Pierre Bernard did rant about Robotech one time :p

I believe he also ranted about some X-Men comics as well. Pierre Bernard is just plain awesome to me. I remember watching the one where he talks about Cowboy Bebop and Case Closed. I just looked at it like:" I can't believe he's actually talking about Cowboy Bebop and Case Closed!!! " I thought he would also kind of get in trouble since their on Adult Swim a block that competes with Conan...

Hey, Tyler, would you mind capturing this like you did the other two? ;)
Also, why is Pierre complaining about this now? This was already over last week.

How the hell can you complain about AS getting rid of Bebop? The show has been run to death since it premiered in 2001. AS gets rid of it, brings it back in a month, gets rid of it again, brings it back again and then, whaddya know, it airs for a 200th time. If this guy somehow really isn't catching the show, then he should just go out and buy the DVDs.
Or I'm just missing the whole point of his rants.
Oh, and his Robotech rant was hilarious, even though it make it sound like some crappy kids' cartoon about people who live in a "giant bubble." :p The audience probably thought he was talking about some cartoon on Nickelodeon or something.

And afterwards, the Robotech people sent him the boxsets of every collection released.

My guess: the Stargate SG-1 episode was filmed during or before last week.

Also, why is Pierre complaining about this now? This was already over last week.Old people usually fall asleep for long periods of time, and then wake up cranky that things progressed and changed while they were asleep. Thus causing them to be angry at the new/changed things because they have to learn/listen/know the new things which tires them out and then they fall asleep again. Which then more new things arise and change...
it's an incredibly vicious cycle

Uh... no. As I just mentioned, this was not a live broadcast. It was a look back at something that happened at least a week ago.
