W.I.T.C.H. graphic novel setting

My sister recently (as in today) picked up Graphic Novel #4. It looks like it's set in books 7 & 8, because before the stories there's a picture of the 7th cover and the 8th cover. Is that where they're set in the story?

Each novel has 2 issues of the comic combined into one digest book.

#1 = 1 and 2
#2 = 3 and 4
#3 = 5 and 6
#4 = 7 and 8
#5 = 9 and 10
etc..

I assume one book was based off one issue of the comic.
