I just got the Elmer Volume of the 24 Karat series today (off eBay), and I have but one comment-5, I repeat five of the 'toons on it are sped up by CN. They are, as follows:

"Rabbit of Seville"
"Hare Brush"
"Design for Leaving"
"What's Up, Doc?"
"Rabbit Seasoning"

Plus, "Bugs' Bonnets" was edited until recently, and the print of "What's Opera, Doc?" is much better than CN's. Not that the tape is perfect (um, yeah, "Cat Feud" is an Elmer cartoon......sure), but my God! And speeded-up prints (along with colorized prints) are purely the fault of money-grubbing networks, which we know CN is very guilty of......

To be fair, it isn't Cartoon Network that is doing the speeding up / time compressing of the WB cartoons. They are just playing the prints that are sent to them by Warner Bros. If anyone is to blame, it is the joker at WB (or WB Television Distribution) who is shipping crummy prints to the folks in Atlanta.

Also, a few of the Golden Jubilee videos (Porky, Speedy, Foghorn, Pepe, Elmer each feature a cartoon with characters other than the "star" of the video.
