.. now that we've had the spidey 90's show, and the short-lived MTV show, I'd like to see a revival of Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends.. guest stars could be pulled anywhere from the Marvel U, it's a chance to pit them against contemporary villains, etc.
for what it's worth, they could loosely base it on ULTIMATE continuity (though I'm thinking Firestar doesn't exist there yet)..
and it would be neat to see updated designs for their looks--

Yes but it does make sense and Spidey and Iceman could fight over Kitty's attention.

If there is an Ultimate Spider-Man & Amazing Friends i think the team should be Spidey, Kitty and Johnny Storm so it could connect three titles (Ult. Spider-Man, Ult. X-Men, Ult. Fantastic Four)

That sounds REALLY good. The story arc in Ultimate Spiderman during the time when Spiderman met Johnny Storm was so gorgeous in so many ways (issue #late-60s I think).
And I was just thinking about this the other day. Spiderman and His Amazing Friends was really a great show considering its time. So I thought that what we need is a 'today' version of that. Ya know, just for the little tykes. It CAN translate to today's culture/generations for the most part, but there are some aspects that were just....I dunno, 1970? :p
Something with an overall friendly vibe, but also a strong kid-friendly vibe.

I would kill to see a team show with Spidey sometimes showing up, i know something like a modern spidey amazing friends would do alright but I always wanted to see him with the avengers. I know not everyone likes that but i think itd be a good idea.

I'm a traditionalist...so if you call a show SPIDER-MAN & HIS AMAZING FRIENDS it had better have Iceman and Firestar in it, dagnabit! ;)

But they can dump Ms. Lion right?
I would love to see a Marvel Team-Up series some day and have Spider-Man be the main anchor for most of the series. I think that'd be a great way to introduce kids to various Marvel characters and get a show along the lines of Justice League Unlimited for the Marvel Universe. Even a revamped Spider-Man & His Amazing Friends could do that.

I taught of an idea of a new Spider-man series too, I wish to see a blend of the various animated series, the 1967-70 version, the 1981 one, Spidey and his Amazing-friends, the 1990s series. I could imagine lots of arguing between Spidey, Iceman and J. Johan Jameson

I wonder if anyone's pitched this to Avi Arad yet?

Ok or maybew they can do a series for younger childrens with designs like the Spider-man and friends action figures, I've been thinking about that for a while it's better than that Marvel bavys I once saw:ack: That really freaked me out!!! Ya know they can make Tony a candy addict.
With Teen Titans recently cancelled, I think a modern version of Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends could work wonders for somewhere like Cartoon Network in filling that void. While I'd much rather see a new solo Spider-Man show, one can't deny that Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends had a great charm to it and a remake of it could pull in spectacular ratings.

JLU worked by bringing back the obscure Superfriends and the Legion of Doom. Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends deserves another shot.

I taught of the same thing, I like to see a solo Spider-man show althought then we could see Iceman and Firestar guest starring in some episodes as well as Hulk, Human Torch, Wolverine, etc....with the various Spidey-vilains even the weird vilains cameos of an updated version of Master Technician, Desperado, Dr. Manta and Infinita.
I wonder if Antefilms/Moonscoop studios (who work on the new Fantastic 4 cartoon) had studied the possibility to work on a new Spider-man series

It could really work both ways as either a way to bring a Justice League Unlimited style show to the market or one like Teen Titans. They could surely add another character or two after Firestar and Iceman to make it more of a team and not just those three characters. It has potential to be either if they ever decided to revamp it somehow. Just as long as they don't follow the formula for The Avengers: United They Stand.
