OK, here's my rant on the current version of Who's Line...
It isn't nearly as "Improv" as The fun english version.

the skits they do are now so geared to Wayne, Colin & Ryan...
I mean..they make Wayne do a song, cause he's a great singer..
They have Ryan do sound effects for Colin @ some point...do a hoedown...

*sigh* It's so predictible.

bleh.

Drew Carey doesn't help. He's not funny on the show...can't improve, and turned the points gag into some crap thing that I wish he'd just drop.

ARG!

I'm going to go to bed.

Bleh.,

Sounds like the Drew Carey show itself.

I've noticed those trends for a while. the always pick Ryan and Colin to do most of the things because they're great together. But it's gonna get old real fast. And Wayne is always singing. I really like the Britist version more, Dan Peterson was a great host. And they need more Greg Proops.

I';m dissapointed when Greg Proops is on the show becuase the always underuse him. The show is really geared towards Wayne Brady. The fact that they do a singing number with his every episode is enough to get on anyone's nerve. The old version, with the awesome Clive, is so much better.

I like both versions of "Whose Line", but with certain differences:

Host: Gotta go with Clive Anderson. He was more creative with the points and, well, he's just the better man.

Performers: Both versions have their merits, but I'm leaning toward the British version on the grounds of more variety. Sure there was Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie and Greg Proops but they also had incredible British talent like Tony Slattery, Steve Frost and Josie Lawrence (they had her on an episode of the American version, but she was barely used). The unbelievably talented Wayne Brady is enough to get me to watch ABC's version.

I think Clive and Tony were the best parts of the british show.

I really wish they would start rotating more comics into the show the way the original did. This series uses the same cast over and over and over again and I think that's why it's getting a little stale.

I would love to see people like Tony Slattery and what was the name of the larger guy who was in a tv show with Joey Lawrence? He was great and anyone else who used to do the show should be brought in more often. Guest stars would be great too, like when Robing Williams was on, he was simply FANTASTIC!

Dunno about the Joey Lawrence part..but are you thinking of Mike McShea, he was in Office Space, but his BIG hit was as Friar Tuck in Robin hood:Prince of Thieves..
