I voted for Bugs Bunny...He deserves it much more than Scooby Doo any day.Bugs has been around a lot longer than Scooby while the Scooby cartoons are dull and boring and OVERPLAYED TO DEATH.

If this were a real lifetime achievement awad, then Bugs would get it, no doubt. Bugs is known world over, has appeared in many of the best animated and greatest cartoons ever made. He is a true legend when it comes to cartoon characters!

You know what's real sad here gang, that I used to be a big fan of Scooby Doo and when Cn started showing every single SD series all the time, that's when I got sick to death of the Great Dane.

CN excutives might have done a poll on just who should get their own lifetime achivement award, but the made the wrong choice on this one.I mean, you will get the lifetime award next year Johnny Bravo???

Bugs Bunny deserves to get it....

I also used to be a fan of SD until my kids started watching them, then bought all the VHS tapes for them and they were played over & over & over again. I'm sick of them now. The same thing happened approx 2 yrs ago when I bought the Laurel & Hardy LaserDisc "March of the Wooden Soldiers". I remember they used to play it at Xmas time(I think) every year, then they stopped. I didn't see this movie for a long time, so I bought it. Well, for some reason my 2 & 3 yr old loved this movie. It was played constantly (Daddy, Daddy, I want to watch soldiers). There's no way that you could have said no. I got sick of that too. I haven't seen that movie in about 1.5 yrs now. Maybe in a yr or 2 I'll want to watch it.

Lifetime achievement award? Shouldn't the candidates be Chuck Jones and Joe Barbera?

At the time I was a kid, the Scooby Doo show was just old enough to be passe. I never liked it. However, I still love the team of Welker, Kasem, and Messick (and Stephenson)- on the original Transformers.

Comparing Scooby-Doo to Bugs Bunny is like comparing Andy Warhol to Michaelangelo.

My three-year-old (and his sisters before him) watches Bugs, Acme and Tom & Jerry every day - but when Crappy Doo comes on he asks me to put on some "good" cartoons!:)

CN rarely includes Bugs and the other Looney Tunes characters in their promotions, the recent "Chasers" commercials being the only exception that I can think of. And you don't see Bugs hanging out with characters like Johnny Bravo or Cow & Chicken. To be honest, while I think that Bugs deserves the award, I'm not sure if I want to see him on the same show as a bunch of Cartoon Cartoons. Next thing you know, you'd see Bugs singing the "Cartoon Cartoon" song. :rolleyes:

Besides, CN needs to promote Scooby. People forgot about him until the last few years when he inundated CN. Bugs, on the other hand, will always be popular. While I don't want Scooby to win this award thing, that's clearly the reason why.
