I totally forgot to tell you guys, I have some great news regarding the Max Fleischer "Color Classics" is going to be released on DVD later this year, maybe this spring.

Jerry Beck and Max Fleischer auhtor, Leslie Cabarga are putting together a dvd collection of rare classic Flesicher color shorts.These are not being released by Viacom(the owners of the Fleischer Library) but will have great film prints for this release.

Excellent. I have a really faded copy of Somewhere In Dreamland, and there's plenty of others that I'd like to get on DVD. Do you know if this will be all of them or just a "Best Of" collection?

Will they have restored openings?

This is great news, especially with my new Yahoo Group taking shape. I hope Viacom does do an official release of more Fleischer toons.
