From Ryona at www.technodrome.com/forums: (http://www.technodrome.com/forums:)
(Will it work? Probably not, but I figured I'd spread the word.)

Someone is petitioning 4Kids to air the lost season (season 5), and not Fast Forward first.

Sign the bloody thing, people! Make yourself heard!

I'm over the age of 11 years old and therefore they don't care what I want to see. Just the facts man.

I agree, but it never hurts to have a little birdie in "The Man's" ear every now and again.

I wonder who created petitiononline.com and thought it'd actually make a difference.

At this point I'm sick and tired of this lost season business. Just be thankful its not being totally abandoned and get on with life.

I wonder who created petitiononline.com and thought it'd actually make a difference. I have wonder that as well. Petitions barely work at all. And besides it not really a big deal.

Is it annoying? Yes.

Is it the worst thing 4Kids has done? Absolutely not.

Who's screwed up an 80s toon relaunch worse? Mattel, who cut back on the last half of MOTU's second season some years back.

I'm just not likely to buy Fast Forward-related toys. That's my way of petitioning.

I just wrote about this very subject to Dan, the Mirage Web Dude. The response I got was interesting, if not somewhat encouraging.

It is NOT being pushed on them by Playmates Toys to sell more merchandise, so that's a good thing. It is also still in production, I'm assuming along with Fast Forward, so there's no way it can be aired by Summer. However, there IS more going on than he is at liberty to discuss...where's E!Entertainment and Mirage:True Hollywood Story, when we need them? :)

Yeah I agree. Petitions are really ridiculous, honestly.

The common thing I see nowadays are people getting all huffy and going, "Well, that angers me. I'm starting a petition!" - like it's going to make an difference.

petitions won't work.

not this type of petition at least.

that is a very interesting quote though, the 'lost' season is still being produced?

Well if it isn't Playmates then we know who it is and it's not the least bit surprsing given their track record in general.

I don't think the online petitions really help, except to maybe raise awareness. Many of them allow you to sign more than once, and post false information, so they aren't that reliable. Also, I don't believe executives hunt the internet looking for online petitions anyway. I think its best to send a hand written letter instead.

Online petitions don't really work. They're also spam.

You are very welcome to link to them in your SIGNATURE but please, do not make a thread for it here.
