I enjoyed Goof Troop enough to tape 14 episodes off of the "Disney Afternoon" back in 1992 and 11 episodes of Quack Pack back in 1996.
On a comparative basis, the animation in the Quack Pack series was above average. I really liked the make over they did on Daisey Duck's character design. One particular Quack Pack episode stood out, (my opinion). "The Boy Who Cried Ghost". In this episode the setting, the colors, the animation, and in particular, the director's handling of this episode set it apart from the others.
The Goof Troop series was OK. The story lines and the animation quality varied so much over the course of its run. There were perhaps 4 or 5 episodes that really stood out for me. I really do like "The Goofy Movie" and to a slightly lesser degree, "The Extremely Goofy Movie."
"The Animaniacs" even made reference to the Goof Troop in one of their episodes.
Enough said. THANX

You know what I like? Punctuation. Could you contribute to the thread? Please don't just come in here to make a sarcastic comment and leave.
Hard to believe, but I've never seen Quack Pack so I can't comment on that. As for Goof Troop, it was very hit-or-miss, and because it was largely a visual humor-driven show, the best episodes were the ones by Walt Disney Australia and France. Everything else... well, you take your chances, really. Sunwoo usually stunk, as did Guimares, and Wang wasn't much better. Kennedy, as per usual, fluctuated between decent and awful, with their best work being episodes like "Cat's Entertainment" where they had fuller animation and more emotion to character faces and such.
Then again, I liked the style of humor in Goof Troop better than A Goofy Movie where, IMO, most of the jokes felt forced in a serious movie like that. The humor in Goof Troop was at its best when it took on the tone of the Goofy shorts where the narrator describes something simple and Goofy messes it up.
