I have heard so much about Looney Tunes made during the 90's through the Chuck Jones studio including: Another Froggy Evening, Pullet Surprise, and Father of the Bird. Does anyone know where these can be found on VHS. Or are they not available? I have seen the others including From Hare to Eternity, Superior Duck and Carrotblanca. What about these?

I don't think they are availble on VHS

Most of them were included in a new series of videos produced in 1996, which are currently out of print, but you can still easy find them in stores. The following 90's WB shorts are available on video:

"Box Office Bunny"
"Charriots of Fur"
"From Hare to Eternity"
"Carrotblanca"
"Superior Duck"

I've personally seen "Pullet Surprise", and it was pretty good. It was nice to see the return of Pete Puma. "Father of the Bird" and "Another Froggy Evening" have been released in theatres, but the public has yet to see the new Road Runner short, "Little Go Beep".

As far as I know, these are all of the 1990's shorts produced (Thad gave you the video release info)

"Blooper Bunny" (1991, unreleased until on CN in 1997)
"Box Office Bunny"
"Chariots Of Fur" (1994)
"Another Froggy Evening" (1995)
"Pullet Surprise"
"Superior Duck"
"From Hare To Eternity" (video only, I think)
"Father Of the Bird" (currently unreleased, although I've heard it's awful)
"Daffy Duck For President" (Aparrently, a Chuck Jones film that was never completed)
"Little Go Beep"
"Toon Marooned" (2001) : a current "Survivor" parody serial available only with flashplayer on www.looneytunes.com.

I'm sure this was just an oversight, Matt, but you forgot one :)

Carrotblanca (1995)

I don't know if we should include "Toon Marooned." It's not in the same category as the normal seven-minute cartoons. It would be like including the "Bugs & Daffy Show" bumpers or something. :)

"Father of the Bird" is actually nicely done, for a Chuck Jones-produced film anyway. It's a whole lot better than "Superior Duck," at least!

"Daffy Duck for President" was to be released in November of 2000 to tie in with (obviously) the presidential election. There was also supposed to be a hardcover storybook by Chuck released (I know that because I saw the cover for it in a Time Warner newsletter).

As to what happened to it, who knows? It was in production after the original contract between Warner and Chuck expired. Perhaps Chuck had taken too ill to finish the project (which is odd, since I've heard reports that others were simply "ghost-directing" for Chuck on "Chariots," etc.). Or, maybe it actually was completed but, like "Duck Dodgers and the Return...", Warner may have felt it wasn't good enough to release. 'Tis a mystery.

I have been able to find copies of "Pullet Surprise," "Another Froggy Evening," and "Father of The Bird" on various binary newsgroups. Specifically:

alt.binaries.multimedia.cartoons.looneytunes
alt.binaries.multimedia.cartoons

Also, look out for "Cats Don't Dance" on Cartoon Network. Pullet Surprise is shown before that film.

What about "Duck Dodgers in the Third Dimension"?

From Hare to Eternity is on CN during June Bugs as of 2000. I have yet to see this cartoon on The Looney Tunes Show and Bugs and Daffy.

Believe it or not, I've seen that book. It's behind the counter of the customer service desk at my local grocery store, of all places. So...it is real.

Y'know, I loved Chuck, but I didn't like his character models.

I got to see some of the late-80's-90's LT shorts last night, and they're all soooo talky! The best ones are Blooper Bunny and Pullet Surprise. I couldn't even make it through From Hare To Eternity. Whoever did Sam's voice was terrible. If you can't get a decent voice actor to replicate Blanc's work, please don't use the character.

Still though, if the new shorts that are in production now are at the level of Pullet Surprise, I'll be satisfied.

I agree with you that Sam's voice was awful in this cartoon, but I do appreciate the cartoon because it was Chuck Jones' final tribute to Friz Freleng and because there were a few pretty good gags in the cartoon. I was actually surprised how funny it was considering I haven't cared for many of the recent cartoons made using classic characters.

Here's one you forgot: "Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers" (1991, first seen on the CBS special "Bugs Bunny's Creature Features" in 1992)

Yeah, I thought Frank Gorshwin's Foggy was okay, but his Sam really needed work. It sounded like Rowlf the Dog was chasing Bugs Bunny. Lol.

In Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers Sam's voice was done by the man who SHOULD be voicing Bugs Bunny right now: Jeff Bergman. And in my opinion Jeff did a great job voicing Sam. It was Elmer he didn't voice so well. My opinion again.

But still, it ain't the same with Blanc doing it. By far, "Blooper Bunny" was his funniest outing of the '90s.

Are you implying that Blanc did voice work in Blooper Bunny? If so, that's completely false. Mel Blanc had died before Blooper Bunny was made.
