well i haven't watched toon disney in a long time so ive hardly ever seen jetix but i would get rid of all the disney channel shows and bring back all the good classics like care bears,gummi bears,winnie the pooh,ducktales,darkwing duck,mighty ducks,bonkers make it like it was when i used to watch it none of these stupid pre-teen/teen shows and for jetix i would have gargoyles,might ducks,x-men,spider-man,the incredible hulk,iron man and silver surfer

I would keep "Digimon", "Beyblade", "A.T.O.M.", "Super Robot Monkey Team Hypferforce Go!", "Dragon Booster", "Gargoyles" and "Kong: The Animated Series".
I would bring back "Medabots", "Spider-Man" (1994 cartoon), "Spider-Man Unlimited", "X-Men" (1992 cartoon) and "Shinzo".
I would add "Sonic the Hedgehog" (SatAM), "Sonic Underground", "Mon Colle Knights", "Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron", "Silver Surfer", "Mighty Max", "Street Sharks", "TMNT" (1987), "Jackie Chan Adventures", "Extreme Dinosaurs" and "Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series"
I would cancel "Get Ed" and "Power Rangers" (all Power Rangers shows).

The shows would cancel are "Get Ed" and "Power Rangers" (all Power Rangers shows).I wonder why... and how you can cancel shows that have already been wrapped up.

What Jetix needs is a bit of presentation tweaking. And, aside from its looks, the block needs structure. Air some shows in the vault from the past. Use the Toon Disney moniker to air the fresh European shows that Jetix can't air due to its definition... and, bring back some of the classics. Leave the Disney Channel originals in the dirt (and, I mean all of them... why should Kim Possible air so much?).

Think they'd go after the (apparently) soon-to-be-available Pokemon? It's no longer on Cartoon Network (although they probably still hold the rights), it's about to be booted off Kids WB and 4Kids is no longer involved in the production or dubbing of the show.

Definitely. As of now, Jetix still needs that programming. Sure, it has the old Fox Kids shows... which are just sitting idle, for the most part. And, when it comes to acquiring shows, Jetix has little to no experience. Dragon Booster sure didn't manage to get them anywhere.

All of this has me thinking, though. With four or so years under its belt, Jetix is overdue for a makeover. As I've said before, Disney could transfer that responsibility to an outside source. After all, with the biggest order of new episodes on its hands this year than ever before (and with new shows running throughout the summer), I think it's time Jetix took a step to show us that it can and does want to accept its place in the entertainment industry.

Though, I doubt we'll see any changes until Europe makes one.

If I could have that one moment of control, here's what I'd put on the Jetix lineup, but first, let me acknowledge what I want to do with the Jetix block on Toon Disney:

Realizing that this is still Disney we're talking about, I'll try to keep the series edgy, yet kid-friendly. Also, I'm resigned to the fact that Power Rangers won't leave the block it has now become so closely assigned to. Jetix is the more dominant brand, but that doesn't mean that non-action fare needs to be abandoned from Toon Disney. In fact, I've set aside time periods so that regular Disney animation or other fare they have in mind *cough*Muppets*cough* in the future.

Okay, but what you're doing is off-topic, since this thread is about Jetix in particular, so please stop!

Well you see, there aren't any other TV stations I know that would treat those shows with respect. For instance, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon would both treat them horribly, seeing as they permanently got rid of classics such as Thundercats, Ronin Warriors and Knights of the Zodiac from their lineup, so I see Jetix as the best place for those shows.

Besides, Jetix needs a lot of enjoyable shows to not only achieve higher ratings, but also to fill up all those time slots if they're taking over the entire Toon Disney TV station. The old cartoons that Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon got rid of from their lineups and the cartoons that used to be on the USA network years ago and DiC's shows as well can fill up those time slots.

Also, Jetix is Fox Kids reincarnated and revived by Disney, not Toonami.

Weekends- the additional 3 hours on weekends could be used for a Jetix movie (I'd assume it'd be 2 hours from 4 PM to 6 PM) and an hour of additional Disney classics (6 PM to 7 PM).

Any premieres would be on Friday under this format with encore presentations on Saturday and Sunday. If it's a series that has aired all of its episodes, then it would continue airing all of them from episode 1. If it's a series that's just starting (ike Oban-Star Racers), then they'd air about 2 weeks straight of premieres before going to weekend premieres only. This would give everybody some shows they'd like (even though the hours maybe hideous), and it would get rid of the automatic encore that drives some people crazy.

Toon Overlord, I believe neither Dungeons & Dragons, Kong(maybe with the exception of Kong: The Next Generation), Shinzo(due to Saban concocting an installment of his own to the original series w/o Toei's permission), Mighty Ducks, Mon Colle Knights, NASCAR Racers, Daigunder nor Silverwing are in production anymore. Perhaps what you meant to say is "new to Jetix" for these certain programs instead.

I don't know about Dragon Booster nor SRMTHFG! being in production or not, though.
