Well I was just watching this eppy today and who is the other spidey? When they showed each Spidey. The one without powers said "If I told you who I was you wouldn't believe me." Well who was it?? I mean was it Flash Thompson? I have no clue so please help.

It was revealed in part 2. In case you happen to be able to catch that soon, I'll put the anwsers in spoiler brackets.

The other Spider-Man was from a reality where Spider-Man is a character in fiction, hence why he had no Spider powers. He was merely the actor who portrayed Spider-Man on TV. Spider-Man (the real one) then met Stan Lee. Funky!

Its obviously Nicholas Hammond. He says he is an actor who potrays Spider-Man on TV not a movie.

It's not "obviously" anyone. It's not meant to be any specific actor who portrayed Spidey in any particular live-action medium. Tobey Maguire was used as an example because that's the point they were going for. If the series had been made after the movie, the explaination probably would have been "movie" instead of "TV", because the joke was supposed to be that he was an actor from "our" reality, hence Spider-Man traveling there and meeting Stan Lee.

Spider-Man says Ben Reily's explanation of his reality sounds like "a bad comic book plot." Worth a chuckle. Possibly two.

Yeh I wasn't thinkin about that. I was thinking you were talking about something that was a smaller joke. Something that wouldn't be that noticable. I would read that series but it is like at least 50 comics and all the others too.

I wonder if the ep`s was made just to mark the clone sega? I mean, there were a lot of spidermans around and spider carnage even yell out the title of the ep when figthing (toon) spiderman.:anime:

That was something that always got a chuckle out of me. You know it was something the crew on the cartoon really wanted to say too. I remember all this Clone stuff was happening right as the series was airing on Fox and I doubt they were too happy about having their source material go so far off the beaten path to make it pretty much unrecognizable to those who watched the show.
