Wow...just wow...last night's episode was by far the best yet. I was totally surprised when Jamie was rveealed to be the traitor - even though it clicked with Teri called her. I wasn't all surprised when those agents who came to get Teri were turncoats. The best part of the episode, when Jack was forced to shoot Nina. Damn - he knew what he was doing by giving her that jacket. This was a great move on Jack's part. Nina knows that he's bugged (I think) so this wil ldefinatly help him. And according to previews for next week's episode, it looks like he's gonna get some back up.

Also, the real disc is still in Bauer's office on the floor. How much do you wanna bet that it'll get found by that hacker kid and hacked within the next few episodes. As I expected the dude witht he soulpatch (his name escapes me) isn't the traitor. He was a good red herring though. This is definatly just getting better and better.

I think I figured out next week's episode. The bad guys want Bauer to attempt to shoot him so the real shooter can easily get away with it next week.

This is easily the best show out there and it continuously shows why. I'm glad FOX has picked up the series for the whole season. Grabted, this wil likely be the show's only season (making it a perfect DVD release) but it will be an unforgettable one.

What's tough now is who we're supposed to be rooting for. When that one guy told Jamie to show him the camera footage from Jack's office, I found myself saying "no, no, don't show him". But then he's basically one of the good guys, while Jack's been compromised by the enemy.

Jack's in a tough position, but he's got to make a hard decision soon. Even if Nina now knows Jack's bugged, he's still essentially working for the enemy. As long as that continues, he's severely undermining the effort to stop the assassination.

That's the predicamernt we're in for next week, I think. When the guy (his name escapes me) sees the footage, he doesn't get everything and now assumes Jack is the bad guy. But, he did point out that Jack gave her the bullet proof jacket. That may make him think again.

I'm gonna be glad when Nina gives it to Jamie next week.

Thing that disc will be found next week? I'm pretty sure it's still on the floor in Jack's office - which may have been another smart move by him. But Jack is definatly stuck between a rock and a hard place.

I didn't realize he'd left the disc on the floor. That should definitely work in his favor. When did he drop it?

He was handing it to Nina and dropped it just before she grabbed it. Then he grabbed her and threw her up against the locker with a gun to her back. He did it very quickly, and it was easy to miss. I saw it becuase I was focused on the key card.

YES! the keycard is on the floor! I noticed that too!
All I can say about this episode, is "WHOA!" Keanu Reeves style!
I guess I should have noticed all the delaying tactics, from Jamie and "York".
I heard a rumour on Ainitcool that the real mastermind beheind
all this would be Dennis Hopper!

I heard that Dennis Hopper will be introduced as the villian first - then I think it'll evolve into one of those "He's a villian but Jack does know" kinda deal. I'm hoping that disc is stil on the floor. They may have cut away from it, and Jack picvke dit up without the viewer seeing. It would be a great way to get past Gains.

I can't help wondering why Jack's boss told him that he could trust Jamie. Maybe he's also a traitor who was trying to throw Jack off the trail and is really alive and behind the whole thing? Probably not, i'm just thinking out loud.

This show manages to keep me on the edge of my seat.

You know...that is interesting...although I can't see his boss being apart of it. He was gunned down and died infront of Jack. There is a slight chance he was faking but...I dunno...that would almost seem too predictable. But we still have 17 more episodes to go in the series, I think...and that ia 17 more hours where ALOT can happen...

one thing i didn't buy was how unguarded kimberly was. with all the stuff that is happening, you would think that one of Gaines people would be following her around like a shadow.

about the DVD to 24, do think that they will show some material that didn't show for TV such as the time between the commercials?

Yeah - Kimberly should be more heavily guarded. She's essentially their bread and butter and without her, they have nothing for Jack.

And the DVD - I'd like to see them use those little commercials inbetween as well. There must be so much material left on the cutting room floor to make the show fit into it's 44 minutes, and I would definatly like to see 24 actual hours filmed for the show...
