I didn't have to put the Darkwing Duck news in because people were already aware that it was getting the DVD treatment, not Talespin. Talespin's DVD treatment just hit now!

I hope these sets will be similar to the DuckTales and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers except with over 25 episodes. That would be nice. I don't want another Quack Pack or Goof Troop release. That would bite. I hope Disney comes out with the 2nd volumnes of both DuckTales and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers. I've been waiting patiently for those. I really want to rest of the episodes of those two series.

People weren't aware when either TaleSpin or Darkwing Duck would actually be release on DVD. Now we know! :)

Huh? Wasn't it announced officially that Darkwing Duck would come to DVD along with the Tick? Or was I hearing things?

Well, I had no idea DARKWING DUCK was coming out, so the news was helpful. :)
Anyway, this is awesome! TALE SPIN is my favorite Disney cartoon. I'll be buying this for sure. (DARKWING DUCK I'd probably get to, and I still need to pick up DUCKTALES and RESCUE RANGERS, but with money always an issue when it comes to these TV box sets, TALE SPIN is top priority.) I guess it's too much to hope for some special features, but just having it on DVD will be great. I hope nothing's altered, too, and that they include the final episode that's been banned.

True, Disney is hardly known for their special features, unless they're self congratulatory, but I'd like to think there's room on a Volume One Darkwing Duck dvd set for a featurette...
*dreams*
Darkly Dawns the Duck - A twenty minute documentary covering the inception of "Double 0 Duck" and how he came to be the Terror that flaps in the night. Featuring interviews with Jim Cummings and Disney staff on the development of St Canard, it's villains and it's heroes.
I mean, given how similar DW's show is in concept to Batman and his rogues, I definately think the folks behind the show would have some interesting things to say. As for future sets...
*dreams again*
Frighteningly Funny Fools - A twenty minute look at the supporting cast of villains and heroes, from the inclusion of Duckburg's GimzoDuck to the Fearsome Five. Featuring interviews from the voice actors and scirpt writers.
The Duck of Tomorrow - A fifteen minute behind-the-scenes look at the end of the production, including scripts and ideas that were ultimately never completed. Would Taras Bulba ever return? Would Gosalyn's superheroics continue on? Would Morgana ever land her man? Hear the answers straight from the creative team's mouth!
*sigh*
I totally need to start filming DVD extras...
