Now we talk alot about the Marvel characters we want to see animated but what about the ones that would simply not work as a cartoon? Maybe the characters couldn't translate right or the storylines would be too adult or complicated for a Saturday morning or even a Justice League Unlimited-like series. Which ones do you think couldn't work?

Holocaust wouldn't translate into a cartoon. I remember the name of his action figure was changed to Nemesis because the distributor didn't like the negative cononnation of Holocaust.

I don't think the Punisher could work as a cartoon due to the fact that he's a mass murderer

Howdy,
#1 on the list are Damion Hellstrom, the Son of Satan (http://www.toonopedia.com/sonsatan.htm), and his sister Satanna.
And never before has the  seemed so appropriate...

Proabably Daredevil and Punisher because of their backgrounds and how to make a show about them kid friendly the writers would have to change the charactars alot

Onslaught?
That character could be easily done for a show but given that the whole story was such a mess it would be a bit of a hard task to I think.

I'd say Carnage, but they've probably already done that.

I'd say Carnage, but they've probably already done that.Carnage, Punisher and Daredevil have all had appearances in Spiderman and other toons. They toned down the violence but nothing that really destroyed the characters' personas (well maybe the non-lethal Punisher didn't work). Frank is the only one of these guys that couldn't work as a regular Saturday morning toon character.
