Samurai 7 on ifc

I never got the memo, however they have started showing Samurai 7 on the cable channel ifc, I didn't see episodes one or 2, however today they showed the third and I will say I am very impressed.

IFC??I see it on my dish.Cool new anime,but why on IFC?What does IFC stand for anyway?

IFC is the international film channel, and for a while they have been showing samurai movies by a guy name Kurosawa who is a famous japanese director, he made a movie about 7 samurai called something simular, like the seven samurai, anyway because this anime is sort of simular they decided to buy it and air it. Also I think they have a samurai saturday block of programming they added it to.
