JL Board Appreciation Post

[The Green Hornet]

This marks my 100th post.

I joined these message boards for inteligent, insightful, thoughtful conversation about the new Justice League animated series. I am pleased to say that I have found much more than good conversation about JL. This site is so very well done, from having great artists like John Delaney actually participate in our posts and even providing us with (VERY well done) weekly sketches, to talk about other comics and animated series.

All in all thanks for this great place. To the people who own/design/operate/moderate this site-- Kudos and Kudos again

Well, thanks very much for the praise.

Everyone here does a really good job being intelligent, courteous and funny as all get out. With all the great conversations around here, it takes no time at all to run up a pretty good post count.

I'm really glad you like these boards. My intention when I first put up these string of boards in 1998 was to have a place where intellectual conversation could be had without having to suffer through all of the fights and flame wars that occupy the other boards. I thinkt hat I've succeeded nicely. Granted these boards do have problems from time to time, but overall these boards are pretty quiet in term sof flames and fights compared to toehrs - and I have all the posters to thank for that. I'm glad that you like these boards, becuase great posters, like yopu, make this place what it is.

I love these boards! Everyone here is polite and we can have discussions about various topics without killing each other(most of the time anyway). These boards are the best on the net and once again I would like to thank Dick Grayson and the rest of the staff for the fine job they are doing.

I'm also glad to be a part of these boards... considering how mean and spam-filled most boards can get, this place is a true safe haven.

I've never seen a Message Board devoted to people's hobbies (movies, TV shows, video games, toy collecting, cross-stitching, etc.) get mean or spam-filled before. Everyone has fun on Message Boards like this! :D

Political and Social Issues Message Boards are another issue... sometimes they get downright scary! For example, you should have seen the Political Message Boards all over the Web after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the U.S. Everyone was airing out their dirty laundry, and saying things they might normally have held back on. It got downright nasty!

Actually for 9/11, over in the AniGen board the discourse was great. Everyone was really civil, understanding, and supportive. I dont remember anybody saying something extreme or something they'd regret.
