I'm just curious as to this, this isn't some kind of deaththreat thing or anything. But I'm just wondering when everyone wants to die.
I'd be happy going in my mid-to late 80's. At the latest my early 90's, after that I wanna be gone.

Wasn't that deemed the second funniest joke in the world a few month's back? "I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather. Not screaming and crying like the passengers in his car."

lol!
When do I want to die? It's a pretty morbid question if you ask me.(lol) As long as I can is what I would say.

I don't want to die before I get a chance to go into space. That's my life goal.

Originally I thought 50-60 was a good age to die. But then I got a girlfriend, & she decided for us..
apparently, we're going to die, right before we get to a "useless" age(as in, where we need someone, other than ourselves, to take care of us), quietly, in bed, side by side...
I find if kinda creepy...like, at the age of 70, she'll poison my soup? hehe..oh well. Its a peaceful way out, I guess? hehe! ;)

Well, I don't want to die until I finish my life's work (my writing) so I guess...never?

My guess is I won't live past the age of 26, mainly because certain things are going down in my life that I don't want to talk about here. Anyway, I'd like to live until I'm at least in my 80's. There is really no point in wanting to live forever.........I guess.

I want to die before I reach that age where I need to wear a diaper again.

Actually I'd rather die in battle or something, cause just drifting off in your sleep is kinda... eh, I like to know what's happening and stuff... That just seems like when you're just minutes away from a new episode of your favorite show coming on and then you just fall asleep. I dunno, I just don't really expect for me to be able to live past 21 cause of some health issues.

Oh my god! What's with all these not gonna make it out of my 20's posts.
Dying in battle may seem cool, but, what if you're in a war and you get shot and you die slowly on a battlefield listening to explosions and gunfire and the moans of other soldiers; thousands of miles away from your family and friends. Cruddy.
But, I don't want to end up on some machine in a hospital either. I hate hospitals.
I'll probably end up getting hit by a car, since I walk everywhere and I let my mind wander while doing so. Could be tomorrow, could be seventy years from now. But, I hope it's at least thirty years from now.

That's the plot from Lain, right? I've seen like the 1st two eps...
I'm gonna die @ about 26...which is only a few years away.
I know this, because I had my mid-life crisis right before my Bar Mitzvah, when I turned 13.
So..=p

I'd be content with dieing after I finish the goals I set out for myself. ANything before then would just be unacceptable.

Personally, I'd prefer to die after I've seen all three of my major artistic visions to their proper ends. I'd be fortunate to even finish two of them. And there's plenty of other things I need to get done along the way... places to go, people to see, a legion of doom to assemble... err, scratch that last one, hehehe.
But death often has a way of surprising you. For instance, I almost died earlier today! Jinkies! Was on my way back to college, and as I was approaching a hill, a truck comes zooming over the horizon on the wrong side of the road! He was veering to my left, so I couldn't go left, and there was a guard rail no more than one foot to the right, so I coudn't go right... but even if either of those had been an option in that split second, he was going so fast that there was only enough time to hit the brake, allowing him to lunge back on the proper side of the road just in time. Lovely.
So ultimately, I'll die when I die, not a moment sooner nor a moment later.

Well, I have some goals I want to achieve:
1.) Win an Academy Award.
2.) Get a girlfriend who could become a wife.
3.) Make a lot of money.
4.) Have kids.
Once I do that, then I'll see what happens. I'll probably die in my 60s, and I hope to die in my sleep.

I don't want to die untill I either went into space, or aliens have contacted earth and we have a real live one. Then, maybe I'll explore other places, then I guess I will die happily.

Check out http://www.deathclock.com
It'll ask you a few questions then it'll tell you when you buy the farm. It's an absolutely morbid site, but I find it humorous.
According to death clock, I'll be sixty, worse case scenario.
According to my own estimates, I'll be gone before I'm 29. I did a whole philosophical thing on the other thread concerning this. [I've noticed lately I've been shamelessly plugging my own posts on other threads. I dunno what's going on with me. ]

I don't want to die until I have been one of the first to go and colonize Mars and help build a new society. I actually think that would be really great to do.
But more realistically, I figure I will die alone.

As long as I live a fulfilling and productive life that has generated something of me that will live on after my death, then I'm not too picky about when I go. I would like to see retirement age, at least.

i want to live until my husband and friends start dying. it would be depressing to keep going to funerals, i guess, when you're still living. i don't want to be the last of my friends to live. i also want to live to the point where i'm not completely dependent on my children and grandchildren to take care of me. i don't like feeling fragile, like i'm gonna break anytime in the near future. then, at the same timei want to live to be at least 100.

dying in battle by the enemy face to face or dying in battle with your comrades by your side (like after getting shot by the enemy and the medics get you to a hospital)? if i ever have to go into battle, i hope i die strong and proud for doing things many people don't get to experience and that i participated in saving the country. Saving Private Ryan scared me lots the second time i watched it. then again, the second time i watched it i was 3 months contracted. =\
