Since Trigun came back to AS weeknights at 1:30am, what are your favorite episodes that you love/hate.

For me, my favorite Trigun episodes is Hard Puncher & Little Arcadia that deals with the Nebraska Family which they're one freaky family:eek: and Fifth Moon & Out of Time which are episodes in the Gung-Ho Guns Arc which show my favorite Gung-Ho Guns like Rai-Dai the Blade & Grey the Ninelives.

The only episode I dislike is Paradise when Wolfwood dies:crying: ,those creator jerks:mad: !

Well, "Hard Puncher" is a fave of mine, and I actually liked "Paradise." It gives a glimpse into Wolfwood's past.

And I can't remember the name of the episode, but I like the one after "Rem Savrem", where he's living under an assumed identity when Wolfwood finds him.

My favorite is Demon's Eye, where Vash fights Dominique the Cyclops.

Their conversation went something like:
Dominique: "Had I chosen to do so, I could have killed you three times by now."
Vash: "And had I chosen to do so, I could have groped you five times already."

Sin, I believe, where Legato dies. Probably the only really good episode of the show.

I love Hard Puncher. The encounter at the end is so great.

Vash: "And had I chosen to do so, I could have groped you five times already."

"Okay, so maybe only four times!"

And we're all reminded how awesome Vash is. :D :D

Favorite ep? The one where Wolfwood dies. I hate it 'cause he dies, but it was soooooo touching.

"Damn, my B-Flat is gone!"

Forgot what ep, but it's when Vash fights the saxophone guy [in which his name escapes me.]

I just find it hilarious that someone would kill themself over a bent key on a instrument. Then again, I'm a band dork. :p

The whole series is great, but Paradise is one of my favs because, as Sage Shinigami said, Wolfwood's death is just so touching.

Each episode had great scenes, but if I had to choose the episodes that were good from start to finish, as well as having emotionally bearable replay value (sorry Rem Saverem)...

Goodbye for Now (Vash goes into hiding as Ericks)
Hangfire ("Total Slaughter...")
Sin
Living through (Vash in depression. Scream, Vash, scream!)

Diablo has been one of my favorites because we get to see a different side to Vash. 'Those are the eyes of the Diablo!'

Paradise just for the fact that Wolfwood's end was deep. R.I.P to the most badass priest to ever grace television.

Sin, Hard Puncher and the final episode were also favorites of mine. Hell, Trigun was a great series all the way through. An excellent blend of action, comedy and emotional drama. Definitely a replayable series (at least for me).

The only episode I dislike is Paradise when Wolfwood dies:crying: ,those creator jerks:mad: ! This oddly enough is my favorite episode. I mean look at message the sheer irony. Wolfwood dies, but he dies redeemed. He may be dead, but for the first time he is truly free.

Now here's a riddle, guess my favorite character in Trigun.

I'm a big fan of Trigun, it's one series I'll usually re-watch whenever it plays on AS. The thing about Trigun though, there's a HUGE variation in quality betweeen good and bad episodes. Good episodes are some of the best Anime I've ever seen; bad episodes aren't even worth a single viewing. That being said, my favorite episodes would have to be.

Diablo-It's an episode that's written well from begining to end. You get to see what a twisted demented monster Legato is, and the battle between Vash and Dominique is intense the entire time.

Rem Savrem-It's not really the best individual episode, but it seemingly comes out of nowhere and is essential to knowing who and what Vash really is.

Sin-It's really much more of a climax to the series than the final episode. (Knives is just a whiny prick who got his feelings hurt, Legato is the only truly awesome bad guy of the series.) It picks up after the shocker at the end of paradise and doesn't let up with the intensity.

but for me the best is
Paradise-It's the begining and the end of Wolfwood's story, it drops several whoppers of plot twist Wolfwood's teacher works for knives, Wolfwood may be a gung ho gun himself, Milly's Pregnant with wolfwood's baby!! and of course Wolfwood Dies!!!
It's at times funny, poingnant, action packed, and of course sad. It also is the first time Vash is forced to come to terms with the sometimes negative consequences of his life philosophy. I will always watch this in reruns

I don`t think that why he killed himself.

As a whole it's probably not my favorite episode but the second to last episode: Live Through has the best scene in the whole show. It's the last scene where they introduce a new musical track: Zero Hour. For me this scene is what a good show is all about. You've sat through the silliness and the plot development and earned the elegant drama that this scene encapsulates.

Yeah, I think the "B-flat" was his killing tool, and Vash ruined it... Right? I dunno, it's all a little fuzzy. It's been over two years or so since I actually watched my Trigun DVDs.

I did really like the show at first, but my opinion lowered a bit with time. Now I don't hate it, but it's got its fair share of flaws(though the series abruptness near the end isn't the fault of the creators but more the blasted Japanese ratings). Still, all-in-all, it's a pretty good show, in my opinion.

My favorite episode, though, would have to be "Diablo." The battle with Monev and the introduction of Legato are enough to warrant this one a high place in my book.

I just find it hilarious that someone would kill themself over a bent key on a instrument. Then again, I'm a band dork. :pI didn't take it that he killed himself intentionally, rather, Vash had hit the B flat key with a ricochet (Vash being Vash, he probably intended to do exactly that) which meant that when the guy tried to kill Vash using the sax as a weapon, it exploded in his hands. Vash kept screaming at him not do do that, too.

It's gotta be "Sin."
