I think that ending was actually done pretty well. Especially when she saw Lex's future as whatever he touched died and then when it was over, she was dead also.

Yeah, I thought that was a very affective scene too. I almost feel sorry for Lex. It's like he's going to become the monster he is, and he does'nt even realize it. Sad. If only he can see the light.

Yeah, I feel bad for Lex, too. Weird as it sounds, he's the guy I find myself rooting for.
And a new episode next week! It sounded like maybe Lex was going to discover Clarks secret-what do you think?

Hourglass is one of my favorite episodes of the season, right up there with the opening episode and Jitters. The ending with Lex's future is just masterfully well done.

I liked how they showed a glimpse of Luthor in the Oval Office, tying it in a little to the comics.

That was definatly a neat little gimmick they did, for sure. This show is better then what I'd thought it be. Better than most of the stuff on the boob tube, anyways.

When Clark was asked if the truck had hit him, he said, no, tho the driver thought he hit Clark. Well, ok, when the truck hit Clark, it did real damage to the under side of that truck! I am sure the truck needed work after that. Seriously, there is no way Clark's secret could be kept after that. That driver knew the only thing he hit that night was Clark. That was a plot hole last night I noticed that just rubbed me the wrong way in an other wise great episode.
