Standard or Proud mode (Kingdom Hearts 2 related)

I was just wondering what difficulty I should select in Kingdom Hearts 2. I beat the first game in about 30 hours (including the extra stuff to get the secret ending) and I didn't have a problem with any boss (I didn't fight any of the extra ones). So what difficulty level would you guys suggest? Thanks for your help.

I personally took Standard mode, which I feel is challenging enough, although I'll definitely play on Proud once I finish(completing the journal before the final boss fight currently).

About 4 bosses gave me trouble on it, so it isn't a breeze, I'd say.

I haven't finished the game yet, but it depends on your ability. Since you got the secret ending in the first game, you were obviously good enough to be Sephiroth.

In that case I would suggest Proud mode. It's harder, but to unlock the secret ending all you have to do is lock all the worlds (i.e. no damn Dalmations like KH1)

Thanks for everyones suggestions, if I do standard mode, you have to fill up the journal to get the secret ending correct? What does filling the journal require? Win toruments? Collect stuff? fight bosses? what?

Defeat secret bosses, win every minigame and at some score(some rediculously hard ones), win all the tournaments, find every treasure chest, etc.

Pretty much do everything possible to do in the game.

You didn't need to beat him to get the secret ending, or any of the other optional bosses (I know, I could never do it) Nothing else required for the secret ending was very hard. (The dalmations, tournaments and Pooh land weren't hard at all)

If you want the secret ending, play Standard or Proud mode.
with Standard you gotta complete the Journal, while with Proud you gotta practically survive the game and not worry about the Journal...

and if you suck at games, play Beginner mode, though you won't get to see the secret ending....which is another story for another day....
