Why does everybody want 3 different dtv versions of Batman?

Now that I look at the early episodes of the series I think they animated Bats kinda chunky instead of muscular & as Bruce Wayne he looked FAT with a nasty haircut! IMO TNBA animated version of Bats n company blows away the earlier look! He looked buff more intimadating in this version n all the villians looked way better too. As Bruce he was sleek with a more lean athletic build. Heck, Lois almost had a coranary when she saw him get off the plane! The JL Batman is also cool with the longer ears so I hope they just make the future dtv's with either his TNBA or JL look but NOT the original look. Agree/disagree? :)

Everyone has a personal preference. I like the BTAS version for certain reasons, but I like TNBA for different ones.

For example, I like how the city and sky are more realistic in the BTAS version--plus the darker backgrounds really made the characters stand out. On TNBA I think that they relied too much on red and green--which made everything look a little murky.

But, I agree, many of the characters looked better once some of the details were removed. I like the Joker and Catwoman better in TNBA (but the Riddler will always look better in his BTAS version).
