More Zatch Bell wackiness and cool fights on Miguzi this week!
Mon - The Missing Red Book
Tues - Botanical Badness!
Wed - A Kind Mamodo, Kolulu
Thur - The Third Spell
Fri - The Elite Mamodo
Not sure who is responsible for them, but we need a Zatch Bell image with the Miguzi-style black border on the bottom. Or if one already exists, someone give me a url, but all I'm finding are the Toonami-style white bottom border ones. :p

Welp, today's ep is the first true heartwrenching moment in the series, and Zatch makes his official goal known. Hope you've got the tissues ready, cause the tearjerker is only moments away as I type.

Poor Kolulu and her sister. :( Why does that episode has to be such a tear-jerker! :crying: That was a Great episode, why did it have to end so sad!?
Wasn't there some way for Zatch to burn the book, but for Kolulu to stay with her sister. Kiyo sure is dense, sometimes!
She didn't want to fight, why did fought anyway?
Why couldn't Kolulu remember what hapened after she fought? Did she loose her memory of the mamodo world, just like Zatch?
Will we ever get to see the king of the mamodo world, the one who forces everyone to battle? :ack:

That's kind of the point. The episode wouldn't of been nearly as meaningful or as fufilling if it wasn't as sad. Remember there had to be more of a reason for Zatch to want to be King then just to stay alive in this Mammado battle. He needed a reason, something he would want to do different, and this really fit well. Besides, emotional and tearful scenes bring out powerful writing. And you have to admit that the ending was really powerful the way it was done.

There is no other way. First of all once the book becomes burned even by a little flicker the mammado will be sent back (there's no way to put out a book once it start's being burned. It's one of the rules). Also this is before Kiyo really knew a lot about the Mammado world and about the contest to be king besides the basics. I mean sure, maybe he could of tried letting them go and thinking of a way for them not to be burned, but...
She didn't want to fight, why did fought anyway?
Kolulu would of probably been dragged into more fights anyway. See the regular her didn't want to fight, but the King of the Mammado world made it so everyone would fight. Thus putting an "evil" side to a peace loving Mammado. (I'm guessing this king is kind of an a-hole to do that, but hey bringing over 100 Mammado to the human world and forcing them to fight one another is kind of an a-holeic thing in the first place). Eventually, wanting to or not Kolulu and Lori would of had to have fought another Mammado team, probably not one nearly as understanding as Ziyo and Zatch. And they would of been broken up or forced to fight against they're wishes anyway. It was a loose loose situation, and Kiyo realized it was best to send her back before she would of had to fight anymore if there was no other choice.
Why couldn't Kolulu remember what hapened after she fought? Did she loose her memory of the mamodo world, just like Zatch?
When some Mammado use they're power, they quickly blank out for a second as they're releasing it (Zatch had a real problem with it in earlier episodes but seems to just blank out for a second now. And dosen't blank out at all using the 6th spell). However since Kolulu's power is a transformation she loses the memories of it for as long as she's in the state. No she didn't loose her memory of the mammodo world (otherwise she wouldn't of been able to remember Zatch) but she dosen't have memories of when she's using her power, although she does realize she is using them.
Will we ever get to see the king of the mamodo world, the one who forces everyone to battle?
That's one thing I do not know. You'd have to ask someone who saw the entire series for that info, although from what I did here about ZB...
There only glimmers of moments in the Mammado world so not much is known on it other then some of the characters remembering it. And since the battle for king isn't over yet I don't think we've seen the ruling Mammado King, although we probably will at some point soon.

Great! Thanks for the info.
You are right the ending leaves off on a powerful note!
Will we ever get to see the king of the mamodo world, the one who forces everyone to battle? :ack: I'll try to avoid excessive spoilers
Yes, although I've seen people argue that he may not really be the king
