I first heard about this comic in, of all places, my local library. I borrowed a copy of the first issue and loved it. Now you can read it online at this link here:

I think I read somewhere that this series has been purchased for development into a movie or series, and I hope it happens - if it's done right. It's a great idea for a kid's movie that could also appeal to all ages - few of us, after all, didn't have a stuffed animal when we were kids, right? (Mine was a lion named Hercules). And I love the art in this comic. It's so refreshing to see talking animals drawn with beauty and style as opposed to the uglies you see everywhere - such as "Camp Lazlo". Yes, I know that it's a comedy, but does that mean the characters can't be a little appealing?
Anyway, I hope we see "Lions, Tigers and Bears" onscreen soon.
