This should be interesting. Since Superman isn't a "normal" man, I wonder what their reaction will be. Opinions?

The reason the Amazons separated themselves from men was the fact that they didn't want to be taken advantage of again (the leader [can't spell her name] had been smitten with Hercules). Because Superman is a more powerful man, they aren't going to react too well. He is a demi-god by what he does: flies, has superstrength, heat vision, is bulletproof, etc. Once burned, twice shy.
As an addition to hot rod's question, what about the rest of the male members of JL?
They're just going to think Batman is Satan or Hades or something. Creature of the underworld. They'd tend to stay away from him.
If good ol' Wally went to Paradise Island (I can't spell its name either), I would forsee a big stick coming down on his skull in the near future. :D
GL is the same case as Superman. More power = more trepidation in terms of dealing with him.
I don't know what'd they think of J'onn.

Will they even be able to set foot on the island? I think that, in the comics, no men are allowed on the island at all. So either their out on their ass or they kind of have to "hover" over the island (use their flying powers or GL ring [for Flash]) for the whole episode.

I guess Flash is going to lose his mind then. All those women for him to look at.

I, too, would be rather disappointed if they let the male JL members set foot on the island just to invovle them in the story. I would be greatly surprised if Hawkgirl was even allowed to go there! As it is, Wonder Woman is supposed to be the only one with access to both Man's World and Paradise Island.
I think that before they (if they ever!) involve the male JL members on the island, they need to explain the history of the Amazons and show Diana's origin much more in depth. Otherwise the story will be just too confusing...

id have to agree with the above post
men on paradise island could only result in trouble-- both story wise and in continuity =)
diana is a very strong character and she deserves to be explored with her own episode
it would cheapen things if she got into trouble in her own episode-- ESPECIALLY on paradise island-- and supes came in and simply smote everything down with heat vision etc

Well, I agree, but that begs a different question: if the JL aren't allowed on the island, how did Felix Faust get there (I'm sure that either the Amazons or the gods would notice him)?

Good point Karkull. And since Batman is slated to be in it, how can he deal with a mad wizard?

Batman has more resources up his sleeve than any other character on the JL, I imagine he could pull a Dr.Fate or Constaintine out of his belt if he needed.
Personally, I think it'd be hilarious if the guys did get to the island, but had to hide throughout it like they were boys on a panty raid. Then they could have a scene where they get chased around by the amazons, and occasionally stop to do a little dancing to a psychadelic background (scooby-doo).

I agree about Batman, and I also think a brief (if not more than brief :p) history lesson on the Amazons is a must for that episode.
And to be honest, with what I know of Superman, I don't think Clark coming into conflict with the Amazons is a good idea. It'd be an awesome story or part of a story that to be done right would take up too much time. If that's not going to be a main focus of the episode, then I'd suggest skipping it. Do it right or not at all, in other words. :)
Superman is the world's favorite boyscout, and that's an absolute. He wouldn't stop until he rid the Amazons of that bitter attitude towards men, starting with himself.
Heck you could make a whole episode on how the Amazons would react to each member. I can easily see it being the entire story behind an episode, providing humor, action, drama, and the showings of some prejudice cases due to bitter past experiences.
I could see 'John GL' becoming bitter towards the Amazons after an incident where the Amazons showed more praise to Hawkgirl while ignoring him and the others. Superman would try to do as I said above. Batman and Martian Manhunter I see reacting somewhat similar (but completely cool and fitting to their characters). And Flash would pretty much end up in jail or worse, I'm sure, and would need to have an eye kept on him. ;)
