Would this be a universe-cross? Would Batman from our JL face-off with Batman from the Superfriends?

If he did...our Superfriends are going to be supersplat. :D

By the way, who's Harvey Birdman?

(dives for cover, waiting for the onslaught)

C'mon, The Guard, Birdman is hardly well-known...

Okay, like Space Ghost, Birdman was a Hanna-Barbara cartoon character from the 1960s. He's experiencing kind of a retro-cool revival, so he's got a Space Ghost: Coast to Coast-like show called Harvey Birdman--Attorney at Law.

The show takes jabs at other Hanna-Barbara characters (Shaggy getting busted for pot, the two men from Johnny Quest getting a divorce...that sort of thing). There's only two episodes right now, but more will be coming...

Anyway, I could see it happening, but as more of a during-the-commercials goof.

A few years back, something similar actually happened. Some of the Superfriends and JLA members switched universes and met their counterparts. Does anyone remember reading this in Wizard? Heck, does anyone read Wizard at all? ;)

Yes, and it was classic. Despero versus Gleek was particularly satisfying, :D.

John Stewart was brought in to make the JL more diverse - but JL has nothing on the Super Friends in terms of diversity. We had Black Lightning, Samurai, El Dorado, and yours truly - cuz sometimes you just need a really big Indian to get the job done!!

Technically, the Superfriends had Black Vulcan rather than Black Lightning, because Tony Isabella wouldn't let them use Black Lightning... so they did anyway, just changing the name and powers and costume.

Whoops. Vulcan. Of course. Tony who?

The original Superfriends couldn't organize a picnic, much less save the world. The Justice League, on the other hand, can save the world AND organize a picnic. ;)

Tony Isabella, the creator of Black Lightning, who is *supposed* to have creative control over his character... but usually doesn't.
