I don't like the sound of that news.

I wasn't even that sure of it when it was announced, but the fact that they're waiting for WB's approval is not something I feel secure about.

Has WB actually greenlighted Dini and the gang to write the scripts, or are they just hoping that WB will accept the proposition? Because somehow, I don't feel that sure that they will. I dunno why. Just a creeping premonition.

The scripts have been written and submitted to the higher ups, and they are still waiting for their response on them. While I'm not surporised that the "three different styles" news turned out to be false, I thought production would have already been given the go ahead.

This is dissapointing news. I reall yliked the idea of all theree different Batman designs sharing the same shelf space at the same time. Actually a smart idea. Not surprised that WB isn't going to go through with it.

Which style are they being done in?

Likely "TNBA" style, although Dini has expresse dinterest in doing a Batman/Superman tweam up movie in the classic BTAS style. I'll find out as soon as I can.

Where and how exactly did the report of three different animated styles get started? It sounded just weird enough to be true.

I think it spun out of a Paul Dini interview that was done awhile back. I remember the rumors starting at just around those times.
