Is there any character currently, who doesnt have their own title but should?
I've always said they should do a BLUE BEETLE title.
Recently weve finally gotten Dick Grayson his own title in
NIGHTWING - HAWKMANs getting a run soon.
Who else would you guys like to see?

I want the Question back, and I want him written by Dennis O'Neil and drawn by Rick Burchett! I loved the original Question series, written by O'Neil, and since Denys Cowan has gone Hollywood, I'll take Rick Burchett since I liked the way he drew him in Batman/Huntress.

The Question would definitely be a good series...
Id also like to see a series on THE ATOM .
In my opinion this character has never been handled
correctly.
Captain Marvel/Shazam has never been given
a chance either with a good mainstream title.
Jerry Ordway's run was just to childish in my opinion,
sure it was faithfull to the original material ...
but Id like a Captain Marvel for the 21st century -
the kind of Captain Marvel that gets the kind of
respect implied in KINGDOM COME .

I immediately thought of the Question, but my choice for creator on the book would be Steve Ditko, if he could be bought out of the self publishing biz to do something for DC again.
The Shadow by Kyle Baker. His Shadow series was one of the highlights of collecting comic books back in the 80s and I was sorry to see it go.
And I know his last series by John Byrned sucked eggs, but I would like to see The Thing in his own series again, perhaps under the Marvel Knights banner. And done right, not on some freaking alien planet where he lives just so he can be human again.

I'd like to see another Spirt series with rotating teams like the Kitchen Press series or a new Shadow book.

Does Black Cat deserve a series? Yeah, it'll be popular ebcuase Kevin Smith is writing it, but I don't want to see the Spider-Man comic franchise turn into the Batman comic franchise. There are too many Batman comics, most of which are un-needed sidekick comics. I don't want to see Spider-Man have five or so spin off titles.

I'm a bit hesitant about the Black cat comic. Smith said he's doing it just to see if his name can make this book a top 10 title, which really isn't all that assuring for me.

I have to agree with DG.
Im a fan of Kevin Smith .. and Ive enjoyed his work
on the comic front to date.
But in all honesty - hes not the best comic book writer
in the industry. Hes no Mark Waid,Grant Morrison or Frank Miller.
Kevins biggest contribution to the industry is bringing comics into the mainstream and inspiring talent outside of the industry to dip their toes in the comic industry.
That said ... I have trouble with this Black Cat series.
Daredevil & Green Arrow worked because Kevin loved these
characters and the joy filtered off the page for the reader.
It may not have been the best comic wed ever read ..but he
was having fun writing them and consequently they were fun to read.
This Black Cat series seems like an ego trip.
Lets see if I can take the most obscure character and
make a top ten book just cause my name is attached.
Who wants to see that ? Wheres the joy or fun there?
Out of all the characters in the DC & Marvel universe combined ...
(we know either company would have let him have his pick)
choosing Black Cat is almost an insult to us as fans.
Green Arrow & Daredevil may have been second string
characters ... but they had a long history and at some point
they were big titles .
Black Cat 's not even 3rd string. Shes hardly in the game.
Its really disapointing considering we could have had
kevin smith on : Blue Beetle or Captain America or Hulk or
Superman ...
As Dick pointed out is not very assuring when the writer tells you hes doing something just to see if he can make it sell.
Maybee Im crazy - but I want a writer to say
"Im writing this character cause I love him ..and Im gonna make everyone see how cool this character can really be.. "
When writers say that we get product like ...
Frank Millers - Daredevil
Mark Waids - Flash & Captain America
and yes even Kevin Smith's - Green Arrow.

Actually, I think that the offer that Kevin Smith was given was to write a book with anyone in the Spidey books other than Spidey himself. While Smith says that he picked a lesser-known character for the reasons you guys cited, I have to wonder what his idea of a better-known character would have been. Venom maybe?
As far as the comic goes, I don't care much about it one way or the other, I'll see what fan reaction is when it comes out. It could stink, it could be good, who knows.

Silver Surfer need's a new Monthly ongoing Series.(unless in the time I've been out of the loop he has gotten one. but I doubt that.)
Beta Ray Bill could use one too. But I don't know how succsesful it would be. He's a Fan faveorite. But I don't know if he's enough of one to sell his own comic.
And maybe if his Icon's series does well enough we'll get an ongoing Nightcrawler comic. Theres deffinitely enough support for the charachter. Of course they would try to do somehting Edgy eventually surrounding his Faith, and Piss off Religous group's(or piss them off from the start, because he's not a representative of their specific gorup.) and Everything would go to hell. And I'd have to hunt down the Creative team responsible. So I guess it's not that great of an Idea.

I still have great memories of Black Cat from her appearances in the old Peter Parker series, so I am really looking forward to her getting her own title. But I guess I am in a minority here in my like for the character.
BTW, who is drawing the Black Cat series?

Well, he certainly got some good "screen" time in a few issues of Robin recently. I thought it was cool to see him in there partnered up with Tim myself...
As for another character deserving of their own title, I'll throw out a couple of animated characters: a Supergirl mini-series, since she dind't get too many appearances in Superman Adventures, and a JLU mini-series/ regualr series... As for mainstream, I'd like to say Spoiler, but there are a few too many Bat-books out there already...

He had his own series, but I so badly want to see him come back with a new series... Miracle Man. And the whole Miracle Man Family. I heard there was a chance Marvel might actually get this character now, and I am hoping that transpires. Neil Gaiman would be my first choice for writer, Grant Morrison second. Well, Alan Moore would be my first choice, but fat chance that happening.

I'd love to see a Blue Beetle title out there, he was really cool teamed up with Robin.

Also if they hadn't recently killed him off, and Cloned him, but kept him a kid, I would love a Guradian Series. He's a Great Charachter who doesn't get the respect he deserves.

Actually if the Miracleman right got cleared up Alan would have no problem writing for Marvel.

Really? I always thought Alan Moore was anti-Marvel. They've been trying forever to get him to do something for them and he has always declined.

Blue Beetle seems to be getting some time in Birds of Prey.
Plastic Man is in the JLA.
Power Girl is in the JSA.
The Atom is in the JLA.
Silver Surfer is in Overlords IIRC.
I'd give Firestorm a shot in either the Titans or in a mini-series.
I'd like to see Damage in Young Justice.
I'd like to NOT see Captain Marvel Jr. in Young Justice.
Cancel Suicide Squad and Spectre to make room.
Heck, just cancel Spectre, PLEASE!!!!
