Season 5, Episode 30

On the last new episode of Yu-Gi-Oh!, The Pharaoh and his crew were able to overcome the obstacles of being seperated and had some of their life energies restored, but Aknadin was able to kidnap his son. He decided he would brainwash Seto, so the Pharaoh decided to persue to prove his friendship to Seto would not fail.

Elsewhere Yugi and company managed to find a secret enterance in the Pharoah's tomb. The gang entered hoping to uncover the Pharoah's name, but little do they know that Tristan has been brainwashed by Bakura, and the tale could be about to end. Now the jourey continues with Seto following the mysterious Kisara, but where will he follow her to?

Now that the April Fool's Madness is over with, we can get down to business. I'll be honest and say I was lost after a 2 month break. They really should have done a mini-marathon to get people back up to date. It was good to see Tristan finally get revealed as Bakura, and it was good to see Seto finally ask where he is. Next week looks like it'll rock as the 5 part saga begins.

Um, yeah, so this episode aired on Italian tv during the Olympics. I'm glad I could see the whole thing through here, since I was getting ready when I first saw it. :)

The one thing I didn't get... So Yugi has to have his wish undone in order to find the Pharaoh's name? But the only reason it really happened was Yugi's doing in the first place.

Wow, they completely screwed that up (not that I'm surprised). Kaiba was supposed to ask, "Was that the Duel of Destiny?" when he walked up to Atem instead of talking about his clothing. Atem says, "No, this is a Yami no Game, so it is not how events exactly happened."

Well, we finally see how poor Kisara got killed.:( We also see that Atem was really fighting Akhnaten (sp?) inside Seto's body!:eek:

I'm just glad Yugi & his friends are ok. For now.:sweat:

I can't wait to see Yugi vs. Bakura next week. Should be exciting.

They did, but only in Hieroglyphics. They don't pronounce it until ep 219. From what I read, the dub's name is the same as the Jp name, which is a good thing.

My impression was that Takashi put in girls for the 3 main guys to eventually end up with. Anzu and Yugi, Mai and Katsuya, Ishizu and Seto.

Thanks dude, Oh yea i was thinking maybe Kiaba and Serinty should hook up, they seem like a good couple. We have Serinty whose good hearted person and is nice to everyone she meets and we have Kiaba who is only nice to those who he really cares about, meaning only Mokuba at the moment. But for some old reason I think they would make a perfectg couple.

But for some old reason I think they would make a perfectg couple.

I just haven't seen enough interaction between the two to consider that a possibility- especially since she's got 2 guys after her already. I have a nagging suspicion anytime that someone writes K/S or Ren/Pirika or Zim/Gaz... it's transference given how none of these boys and girls interact in canon, but how the boys fight constantly with these girls' bros.

Plus, I can't help but see parallels made between Jonouchi and Kaiba between DK and BC- and one is how they both get a useful card from a certain girl.
