Not this season, but maybe soon.

Sadly, he falls into the Aquaman category: not very useful unless it's a magical threat.

I have to disagree. A decent magic-user like Dr Fate can basically cast spells that do nearly anything. Also, they tend to have a LOT of firepower.

A decent wizard like Dr Fate would be a good addition, and wouldn't even pose the mobility problem that Aquaman does ( Fate can fly AND teleport ).

Was it me or did I hear that the old JLA was making an apperance in JL (or was the the JGA or something like that) So wouldn't Dr. Fate be in that episode. Can someone clarify?

yeah, plus they already have rough ideas of how he would look since they already made him in superman- series
a nice way to have a magical-threat would be to have that demon-faced guy and the kid with the cat that mutate, don't know they're names, but it was in the batman show

I think your talking about Etrigan and Klarion the witch-boy.

I'm not sure if they'd be enough to warrant getting the JL in action though.

I don't know, if Klarion was given power resembling his in the comic, he could take on the JL. In fact, if he just prepares, he could take on the JL.

Failure: Etrigan will be appearing in a JL two-parter this season called "A Knight of Shadows," but Klarion (and Teekl, his cat) won't be the main villians.

JChampion: What you have been hearing about is the Justice Guild of America. Bruce Timm had wanted to do an Earth-1/Earth-2 type of story guest starring the JSA, but he couldn't reach an agreement w/TPTB at DC Comics over the use of the JSA characters. Timm's solution was to create a new group of "retro" heroes called the JGA. This new group ended up possessing many of the character traits of the JSA and the Silver Age JLA as well.

There are a couple of threads discussing the JGA on this board if you want to know any more about them.

Hope that helped!
