This is the talkback thread for "Someday's Dreamers": The "Magical Dreamer"'s Magical Source Ain't The Mystic Force! (http://news.toonzone.net/article.php?ID=9789).

You know those androids they're making in Japan? They need to make one for Shinobu, just for Knux. :P

Oh yea, and there's stuff about Someday's Dreamers in there.

Someday's Dreamers is a series that I loved. As a shorter title it's just right. If they had thrown in a bunch of filler episodes to make it longer it would have definately spoiled it. Everything is taken care of and wrapped up very nicely in it's alloted time. It's very character driven and slice of life. With it's slower pace it will surely turn some people off but I enjoyed the storyline and characters very much.

The irony of KasumiTen's statement is that the anime series is made of mostly filler episodes to make it to the 13 episode mark. I'd say not even half the episodes in the anime were in the manga, nor even half the characters. Then again, the manga was only two volumes long so that is understandable.

All that said, Someday's Dreamers is one of my favorite titles. It's a nice, slow, quiet series that takes its time to tell its story. One can argue whether or not it actually does so at the end, but that is irrelevent at this point. Someday's Dreamers is nice, relaxing break from all the violent/fanservice-laden/too-cute-for-your-own-good type of shows that tend to get all the attention. And it is pretty to look at, too!

Oh, and sign me up for a Yume Kikuchi android as well.

I'm not one to do a comparison of an anime title to it's manga counterpart. I let the series stand on it's own merit since I'm not a big manga collector anyway. By filler episodes I wasn't so much referring to material not being found in the manga, but episodes being produced just to fill time in order to make it to the magic numbers of 26 or more.

It's nice to see other's out there who like this title. It definately deserves the recognition.

I remember picking this one up at a RS sale a while back. Very sweet little show. The producers knew exactly what they budget they had would buy, and they didn't try to break it like so many other shows. I liked it alot myself.

Of course there's a beuraucracy to deal with magic. This is Japan.;)
