Like the thread title says, what is your favorite team(or teams) from Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2?

For me, one of my favorite teams was Mega Man/Wolverine/Cable.

Marvel Vs. Capcom - Captain Commando/Captain America, Jin/Spider-Man
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 - Cammy/Cyclops/Captain Commando, Magneto/Dr. Doom/Iron Man, and interchangeably on both accounts B.B. Hood, Hayato, and Ken.

Captain Commando, Venom, War Machine, Cable, and Juggernaut are mainly who I pool from; the most common being Captain Commando, Juggernaut, and Cable.

In MvC1 always used Cyclops/Ryu or Spider-Man/Ryu. This pretty much continued into MvC2 where Iron Man or Captain America was thrown into the mix.

No love for Wolverine?;)

Pfft, Wolverine's so cheap. Actually, got CHEAPER on MvC2. But hey, that's probably just me... <_<

Marvel vs. Capcom - Captain America/Spiderman, Spiderman/Chun-Li, Chun-Li/Gambit, Morrigan/Captain America

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 - Guile/Charlie/Hayato, B.B Hood/Morrigan/Captain America, Captain America/Guile/Charlie, Jin/Hayato/Strider (Alternate: Sonson)

And, the team that ends the most rounds when having maxed power bars
Iron Man/B.B. Hood/Gambit

I say Captain America's Final Justice is the awesomest physical combo. Has anyone ever pulled off Morrigan's finisher in MvC1 that was unblockable?

You just made me reminisce on happy times, so thank you. :)

Marvel vs. Capcom 1: Roll / Venom, Roll / Morrigan (seriously, you should see the look on some people's faces when they get their butts kicked by Megaman's sister. I never seen so many dropped jaws before in my life) :anime:

Marvel vs. Capcom 2: Rogue / Felica / Morrigan, Rogue / Felicia / Gambit

Cable/Megaman/War Machine or Cyclops(the fully powered team special attack is usually an instant kill for anyone)

I would also substitue Megaman for Tronne Bonne because the Serve Bots would cause alot of damage as well or I would use the Sentinel because he just crushes things in his special attack as well

All in all I played 2 definetly more over 1

I've got 1 on the DC and I have 2 for the PS2

allthough i wish things didn't cost that much points to unlock(i.e. the costumes)

I think it's safe to say that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 gave you more for your money than the first one.

Spider-Man/Iron Man/Captain America usually did it for me. I sometimes like to throw Wolverine into the mix too.

Iceman: Cheap as hell, but you can't beat a good turtle when you need to turn a losing match around by frustrating your opponent.

Guile: Guile's my trump card. He was always my favorite character in the Street Fighter series, and in MvC2 he received a nice speed boost that turned him into a combo machine. His ranged game is less stellar, but the Sonic Boom is a decent option until he can get back into his preferred range.

The third slot tended to rotate between:

Cyclops / Cable: Both decent middle-ground fighters combining a competitive close game with a good quick projectile attack.

Psylocke: Sometimes, you just need a good combo monkey, and Psylocke is about as good as they come, especially with her stellar air game and a decent (if slow) projectile.

And the occasional Rogue, Cammy, or Wolvie just for variety. Of course, when playing against the computer every now and again I'd have to play the Cyclops / Cable / Iceman combo just for the satisfaction of killing the last boss with one move.

When I could play the first one, I did quite well with Strider and either War Machine or Captain America.

Wait, can you have six characters in a certian version of Marvel Vs Cacpcom 2? I thought it was only three. Anyway, my fave team in it is Tron Bonnie, B.B Hood and Cable.

I think it's only three. Having six characters would make the world explode.

Strider, Mega man, and Wolverine with Hayato occasionally substituting for one of them.

It's been a while since I last played MvC.

MvC1: Mega Man and Ryu or Chun-Li.

MvC2: Always use Tron Bone (I rarely lose with her), and alternate between Rouge, B.B. Hood, Charlie, Morrigan, War Machine, and Servbot. I love doing screen filling super combos.
