I remember hearing about a movie as well. If Trigun X really is a new series, I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar to the new Hellsing OVA in that it retells the story closer to the manga. Then again, wouldn't we have heard about such a series by now? :shrug:

- properly balance the comedy and drama aspect

Trigun X could be many things.
It could be a remake with the true-to-the-manga story from TriMax.
It could be a sequel to the original anime.
It could be something completely different.

I think I'm going to be like most folks with my eyes focusing on Trigun X and Highlander: Vengeance. For the later, I didn't know it was popular enough in Japan to warent being made into an anime.

Maybe Nightow and Madhouse are saving him for this new project, or the character might just be a really cool looking red herring that serves no real purpose in the Trigun storyline. I would be pretty happy either way, seeing how Trigun is one my favorite shows of all time and it will be good to see Vash and Company return to animation.

The live action TV series from the 90's was simply awesome despite the criticism that it sometime recieved; if the anime can capture even a fraction of that style and action it will be great. In fact I hope the anime stays far away from the plots of any of the films because all of them were terrible, even the original. And do not even get me started on that unholy mess that was the original animated series that use to air on USA; the less said about it the better.

Yes, Gazelle was created as an action figure for the Trigun toy line, through Nightow has written some background information for him. I have no idea how he would fit into the story right now though, seeing as how in the manga...

I`m pretty sure that the outcome of Vash's current fight will determine if trigun will be very long or ending soon.

If Legato dies and Vash goes to fight knives, it is most likely the final battle. If legato lives, we`re gonna have a long series on our hands and gazelle has a chance to show up. It all really depends on what vash does next.Heck, legato could still die and knives escape to round up a new posse of GHG's, they're all dead except for the "two" who are now on vash's side, IIRC.

that's the only way I coud see Gazelle making an appearance.

Woah I just took a look at Air Gear and the animation blew me away. I don't know if it'll keep it up or if that was just for the first episode, but it was ass-kicking sweet.

Also maybe I'm wrong but in the manga Akito/Agito He didn't appear in the beginning at all. Looks like he's gonna be introduced really early in the anime though since he and his brother appear in the first episode

I saw NANA the live-action movie today and it was amazing! This makes me even more excited for the anime The story is so good!

Did anyone get the chance to catch Higurashi no Koro ni? I only saw one review for the show so far and that's on Cinnamon Ass's blog. It looks to play out like some kind of murder mystery slasher show. After all, it's got a crazy schoolgirl wielding a big, big knife. :p

School Rumble Ni Gakki picks up right where School Rumble left off. Man, I'm so glad that someone pointed me to the Del Rey manga release because this has been one fun anime title. I don't think unrequited love has ever been funnier, at least not in my viewing experience.

Yea, the School Rumble sequel is going right into the culutral festival school battle. Looks awesome. MIKO-CHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNN :p

I looked at xxxHolic and really love the look of it. I wonder if the series is going to include the crossover stuff from the manga with Tsubasa Chronicles.

I downloaded the OP animation from AMG's second season and Peorth is the second Goddess shown after Belldandy so I'm looking forward to some Peorth!
