Hey, I was wondering if you guys could help me out with this curiosity...When I was a little kid, I remember seeing this really eerie Bugs Bunny cartoon that I vaguely remember involving carrots and robotic/zombie versions of people...The animation style was a bit different from other Looney Tunes cartoons, so I'm guessing it was one of the last ones to air, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows the name of it (or if anyone else even remembers it!).

It was a Halloween Special, I think it was called Bugs Bunny's Creature Feature or something similair

It's called Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers, I think. It's also quite possibly the creeptist cartoon I've ever seen (though Chickn From Outer Space is a close second).

It's not from the original run of Looney Tunes, Vale. It was done in the 1990's, so in a way it could be considered a "zombie" cartoon in itself.

Daffy Duck's human lips gave me nightmares.

Same here. You know what was really creepy though? The zombified Porky Pig in the ending credits. Made me shiver just looking at it the first time. But it was a funny cartoon, from what I remember of it.

I remember this. My favorite part was Daffy's zombification, where he got the Clutch Cargo treatment.

"Gee, what strange-looking carrots...

...

Oh well!"

Proving there have been a few enjoyable Looney Tunes shorts made since Termite Terrace. (Blooper Bunny is the other.;))

It's realy a Episode of Tiny Toons, and the episode's name is "Who boped Bugs Bunny?" , and that episode is done by Kennedy.

Hope this helps.

:anime:No it's not, it's a Looney Tune. It features Bugs, Daffy, Sam and Elmer. How can you mistake it for a TTA episode?

Here's a bit of info about 'Bunny Snatchers', if that will help you ID it:

In a horribly butchered format. They cut out every bit with Yosimite Sam, for whatever reason. I was furious, considering I pretty much bought that DVD for that cartoon.

I remember the first time I saw that cartoon. It had made its way into the rotation on Nickelodeon back in the day. I thought I had seen every LT cartoon ever made, and then that came on. I can't remember if I sat in silent awe or doubled over laughing, but for awhile there I thought perhaps I'd dreamt it.

I know quite a bit of trivia about "Bunny Snatchers", relayed to me directly from animator Nancy Beiman, who handled all the Daffy Duck scenes in this cartoon...

- The animators had a bet going to see who could do the worst animation of the zombies (who are intentionally supposed to be poorly animated), and when the finished cartoon was screened, Nancy's "Clutch Cargo" Daffy scene won hands-down.
- Though Jeff Bergman did the voices for this cartoon, it's director Greg Ford who provided Bugs' scream as he runs out of his rabbit hole.
- There's a reason that some of the scenes in this short look a little rushed - the entire thing was animated in one day. I kid you not.

Whoa.

This and Blooper Bunny both have the copyright date 1991, which begs the question: which movies were they attached to?

It's strange Box Office Bunny got so much attention, but all these others were leaked out with no fanfare at all......

Does anyone remember a Bugs Bunny cartoon from the 90s where Jason makes a guest appearance?

WOW!

Yep. That was "Box Office Bunny". Daffy and Elmer end up flying through the screen and into the movie.... and here comes a Jason-like fellow with a chainsaw! :D

The correct term would be "pod people" rather than "zombies", the whole thing being a "body snatchers" parody.

I never heard of Clutch Cargo...holy crap, an entire show was done that way!?

They were both never released to theaters. "The Invasion of the Bunny Snatchers" debuted as part of the "Bugs Bunny's Creature Features" TV special in 1992. WB pretty much buried "Blooper Bunny" (there were some higher-ups who hated this one) and it didn't debut until Cartoon Network ran it as part of June Bugs in 1997!

Yep. I've seen it for myself. :o

I don't know if it's available on DVD or video, but there's a dead-on recreation of that ultra-cheap animation included on 'The Incredibles' DVD.

That's so awesome. XD Though the actual cartoon gave me nightmares, I think.
