If you haven't been watching Saturday Night's show that was the title of one segment.

You could say the same thing about Dumb Patrol...
REMEMBER: This thread is about two STUDIOS, both Injun Troubles were by WB, so it is not fitting for this thread.

Chuck Jones' "The Aristo-Cat" has an obviously similar title to Disney's feature "The Aristocats."

CARTOON titles, not movies. Anyway, they aren't the same title.
This thread is getting out of hand, and it's all my fault.:o
Why did I have to bring up Bars and Stripes Forever?

Aristocats is a cartoon Sveven. It is an animated film, so it should count IMO, at least as an honorable mention due to the hyphenation.:)

That's NOT two studios.
I am not trying to be rude, I am just trying to stay on topic.
That's an idea! Make studio repeat titles its own thread:rolleyes:

"Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid" (WB)
"Papa Gets the Bird" (MGM)
Two studios make references to the middle finger in short titles; the Hayes Office vows to investigate. Film at eleven....

Can someone explain to me how that is the same title?
He only said the titles made reference to the middle finger, not that they are the same.

I'm curious. How does the titles " Bugs Bunny Gets the Boid " and " Papa Gets the Bird " refer to the middle finger?
When somebody gives you the bird/boid, or flips you the bird/boid, they are giving you the middle finger. It's a slang term.

If both "boid" and "bird" refer to the middle finger, why did the Hayes Office care which one was used?

BABBOT: Give me the bird! Give me the bird!
CATSTELLO: If the Hayes Office would let me, I'd give him the boid alright!
Well, now more people get this joke from the foist Tweety cartoon! :) :D

The Little Audrey Song of the Birds was actually a remake of the earlier Fleischer "Song of the Birds". The only plot change was the addition of the "Mammy" scenes in the Little Audrey cartoon.

Both Columbia Studios, in 1934, (though technically it was live action and featured Shemp Howard of the Three Stooges) and Warner Brothers, in 1965, produced short films with this title. Sadly I've seen neither.

Eeeeeh, could it be that this thread got carried a bit too far?
(gigantic explosion)
Eeeeeh, could be!!
(very reminiscent of 1947's Rebel Rabbit)
By the way, I can't think of dual titles since I mostly concentrate on a couple of studios.

Yes, I dug way back into the TTTP archives to revive this thread, so here's my addition:
Bulldozing the Bull (Fleisher/Popeye)
&
Bulldozing the Bull (Terrytoons/Heckle & Jeckle)
I just happened to be going thru my terrytoons collection when it hit me. Maybe I need a drink...
