*sniff, sniiiiiff* Mmm, smell that? That's the smell of a whole new year of crime fighting, JL style! :P So let's get right to the new FQ after I wish you all a Happy New Year! So far April seems like THE month for us Animated DC hero fans, so let's jump into hypothetical mode for a moment with our JL DVDs:

How would you organize the features, episode order, and the like of our JL DVDs?? Go crazy, fanatics!

It's hard to say exactly how I would organize the episode order seeing as we've only seen three full episodes.

As for special features, I'd like to see the eight bumpers ("We now return to Justice League...), the commercials, some behind-the-scenes stuff, and the original production sketches (that we have blurry copies of from the San Diego Comic Con). In addition, what about an easter egg that has the Powerpuff Girls versus the Legion of Doom!

Oh yeah, definately commentary tracks!

I would like to see the step by step process of animating the JL as an extra on the dvd. I would also like to see the character models for all the characters along with background info.

I would have Bruce Timm do an intro for each episode, then have the writer and director of each episode do a commentary for their episode. Possibly add Bruce if he helped come up with the original story idea. Maybe have Kevin Conroy join in as well to comment on the voice recording. That's something I haven't seen before.

Making of featurette, art galleries, and storyboard-to-final film comparison (angle or split-screen) for at least one full episode. Also do a featurette on the voice actors.

And NO DVD-ROM LINKS! Waste of space, IMHO..... :)

While we're at it, I'd wanna' see that early, 2 min. presentation film BT and company did for BTAS. Not on Justice League DVDs, but on the BTAS ones.

Hopefully WB will get smart and start releasing these DVDs like crazy.... Personally, I'm hoping for Supes.

Later,

if they continue to release jl, it better be in order, production or air date, whatever, no theme disks

I'd like to see interviews with the voice actors as an extra for the DVDs. The DVD released in productiopn order.
