Note: Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the series with or without the other Marvel aspects.
Now the reason that other heroes couldn't really debut with in the Evo Universe was that it wouldn't make sense for the public to trust superhumans and the spurning mutants afterwords. Captain America works because he's a more government sponsered hero. Spider-Man and The Hulk obivous because they're not so well loved either.
Iron Man: He's not a superhuman, just someone with a superior mechanical suit. As we know, Stark Enterprises/SE exist (On Angel Wings).
Hawkeye: Not much other than being an archer with High Tech Arrows.
Black Widow: Aside from tools, she's just athletic.
Doctor Strange: I believe he's consider to be creepy because of his occult practices.
Namor The Submariner: He would work for the following reasons-
A. He's a mutant, a different type albeit.
B. He does act as an antagonist on occasional.
C. He'll pretty much aid the heroes only if it's on the behalf of Atlantis.
That would even work in favor for Avengers Evo style if they go with the government sponsered approach:
Captain America
Iron Man
Hawkeye (Drafted assuming he commits theft against SE)
Black Widow (Like Hawkeye, drafted)
Beast (To help with positive press for mutants)
Anyother heroes?

Spider-Man - He can be Wolverine's unofficial sidekick. And the poor guy hardly makes guest appearences. Also in the episode "On Angel's Wings" Angel was reading the Daily Bugle.

Daredevil - If Xavier or whoever gets sued by someone Matt Murdock could serve as their attorney.

Binary(Carol Danvers) - She can be Rogue's best friend after "Risty" left.

Hulk - If this guy ever goes on rampange Nick Fury will definetly called the X-Men or Logan

Lockheed - No reason. I just think he is cute.

The Punisher could easily been put in. I know he'd be watered down vastly but he was used well in Spider man TAS which was about censored about twice as much as X Men Evo so at least he could shoot bullets. I also had the same idea for Daredevil.

Woah - where did THOSE designs come from?
Spidey and Daredevil seem the most natural fits for the more realistic world of X-Men Evolution. Not that they couldn't include the Hulk and the Avengers and all that jazz, but they're more the galaxy hopping superheroes, which the creative team tried to stay away from.
Also, Spidey's a teenage kid in school too, so he could have been an easy fit for a few episodes of a season - maybe Peter Parker comes to Bayville as a transfer student and sticks around (pun totally intended) for awhile. Those Daily Bugle teases in 'On Angel's Wings' were just cruel, too. I was half expecting a quick 'Nightwing in JLU's Grudge Match'-esque cameo.

Black Panther would make a great guest star on X-Men: Evolution. If they were to do a story with Storm as the central character, Black Panther would be excellent for it because he and Storm have a history together.
I think the destruction that The Hulk would no doubt cause would be a perfect example for those who hate mutants to use against them. However, Juggernaut fills this role nicely too.
I understand a lot of folks won't coherant universes, but does a show suffer because it doesn't tie into anything else? I thought X-Men: Evolution worked fine as just that - a show about the X-Men.
Having said that, if the crew ever fancied doing a Spider-Man show in a similar manner, I'd have absoloutly no objections. :zim:

Yea Spidey does work good on his own but he also makes a great guest star. I always thought it was strange that Evo never had too many guest stars. Then I came across this forum and lo and behold, figured why that was so. I always thought it was disappointing that Juggernaut didn't do any mass damage, that wouldve been a nice storyline there, but the Sentinel filled that well.

I think Lockheed should have appeared in Evolution.

Pal you really like Lockheed eh? He was there in the only logic form for a show without space travel clones and alternate timelines, he was just Kitty's favorite teddy dragon (Is correct teddy dragon? I hope if it's not you understand what I mean) I'd loved to see Daredevil, I'm not sure how, maybe if someone sued Xavier for something, but it's weird even like that.
By the way the designs of Spider-man Daredevil and Hulk are awesome, I like Carol's design but not as much as SPidey's.

I like that the show stayed away from superheroes for the most part. X-Men: Evolution did a good job at trying to place the mutants in the real world (well as "real world" as you can get in cartoons) and I like that they didn't fall onto the crutch on relying on other Marvel Heroes to carrry the show but on the main characters themselves. But if they did ever bring in heroes I would've liked to have been kept as simple as possible. Spider-Man and the Hulk would've worked great becuase the main characters could easily relate to the situations the main cast were going through. It would be easy to just start throwing in pointless cameos and I'm glad X-Men: Evolution avoided that.
