actually, Nanoha was pretty good, so there was at least 2 in the last 2 years :p

IIRC though, Nanoha was still based off an H-game, wasn't it?

Side game of a game, actually. Don't remember if it was H.

And even then, Nanoha had the whole " OMG they're blushing at each other they're lesbian lovers lol!" thing going on that pissed me off

Not to mention the OP/ED songs to A's, OP was sung by Fate's VA and ED was Nanoha's and I remember seeing a translated interview by Nanoha's (Yukari Tamura) that she was even embarressed by some of the lyrics she was singing.

They (the producers/writers) really played that stuff up. :anime:

The original game was Triangle Hearts. The main character of the game was Nanoha's brother.
In the game, yes Nanoha and his sister even are endings. Yes, it was H.

Then there was an OVA series named Triangle Hearts. Not H. Whose main characters are Nanoha's brother and sister playing the role of assassin/bodyguards. Some excellent swordplay and choreography, btw.

Then came Lyrical Nanoha and A's.

Yeah, this show looks really creapy and cheap.

Wow, Nanoha was based off of porn? Somehow, it makes sense give nhow forced alot of the emotions seem betwene Nanoha and Fate.

BTW, who in their right, or even left mind would name their kid fate? That's just asking for trouble.

The manga of Dai Mahou Touge is pretty funny, or so say a few of my friends.

Anyways, yes Nanoha was based off of a porn game. But no, Fate was not in it.
And Nanoha never had any super powers.
She was just the stereotypical "onii-chan!" screaming character.

MAJOR Spoiler for nanoha season 1:
Fate was just the name given to the clone.

The universe of that H-game that Nanoha was based on would seem to have been voided/changed by the Nanoha series. I think they just found a character which had a tiny part. In the game I think Nanoha was older then in the anime and she only appeared in a few scenes (nothing nude) she was just running the family's shop I believe.

To make a probably better analogy. Triangle Heart to Nanoha is kinda like Soul Taker to Nurse Witch Komugi. They share characters with the same appearance and names, but the storyline is much different and focuses on a younger female character who was popular.

It's penned by guy who did Guu, so I'm taking a swatch at it on the primace that it can't be as bad as Murder Angel Droko chan.
