Thanks for putting this up Kippy. I was gone till midnight tonight so I missed iMPACT! I taped it as well as SNME so I have some wrestling to watch.

From the spoilers I read earlier in the week, iMPACT! was pretty good tonight.

Yeah I know he's never been normal but his appearance excedes all levels of understanding

Christopher Daniels being the new X-division champion seemed so unimportant.

I was only able to catch the main event. Pretty good. Guess which wrestler in that match is not going to be stepping into the Hexagon again anytime soon. He (http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/moorereturns)'s not a big loss for TNA by any means, as they didn't really use him much and TNA has a dozen better guys available to take his place. I suppose that's why he jobbed.

Please tell me that wasn't Norman Smiley I just saw in the ring on TNA? I haven't seen that moron since WCW when he was the hardcore champion and when he used to do the "Big Wiggle."

Typical crazy promo by Steiner. "Fat roly-polys" :p Hopefully Steiner says more crazy and weird things.

BTW, I like how half the TNA rosters is part of Jarrett's heel group. Its like the NWO and Alliance.

So it looks like Joe is finally leaving the X-Division. Good career move.

I liked the whole Ozzie Guillen/Simon DIamond business. I liked the announcers saying "Photoshop." 1st time that word has been uttered in wrestling.

I get frustrated with TNA sometimes. The reason why I enjoy watching is the X-Division and some of the younger main eventers (Christian, Monty Brown, Rhino, Abyss). So its great when there isn't something taking away from their spotlight, just for a feeble attempt at name recognition marketing. Yet it seems like those times are few and far between. There have been a ton of older wrestlers that have had a cup of coffee in the main event in TNA -- most recently: Kevin Nash, Sting, and now Scott Steiner. Throw in people from the past like Scott Hall and Randy Savage and you got a list of some of the most obnoxious people ever in the wrestling business (outside of the Stinger). It just worries me that TNA doesn't think about who they are getting, they just get them if they are known. There was a time a couple of years ago in the WWE when Vince McMahon was doing this very same thing (Steiner, Hogan, Piper, Hall, Nash) and none of the relationships lasted very long for a reason.

Steiner's promo tonight was horrendous and only entertaining on how hilariously bad it was. Sometimes Steiner can reach bizarre Ultimate Warrior levels of incoherency. And as VCXZX said, that group following Jeff Jarrett around is looking way too much like the way-too-big 1998 NWO. It was fine when Jarrett had some heel friends, but I think its stupid to extend it to pretty much every major heel on the roster. It limits you creatively, particularly concerning Monty Brown and Abyss.

I like the fact that Six Sides of Steel will be on TV, but this Team Canada and Team 3D feud is so stale and terrible. Team 3D's promo with the singing makes me wonder just how much time creative puts into writing segments. For a one hour show, every moment really has to be dead-on, none of this useless garbage.

All wrestling angles involving entertainment or sports figures are usually dumb, and the Chicago White Sox one is no exception.

Enjoyed the main event and the qualifying match, though things like the World X Cup always seem so hopelessly irrelevent. Abyss squash also seemed pointless. Norman Smiley, haha.

I don't know which thread to put this but here's important news regarding an Impact schedule change from pwinsider.com.

Spike TV has Impact listed to air on Thursday 3/30 at 9 PM, which looks to mean that they have purposely moved the episode out of the line of fire of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, which would have aired head to head with Impact on the USA Network on Saturday 4/1.

Smart scheduling move by TNA. It would've been crushed by the HOF in the ratings.

Only problem now is that TNA has to deal with the Office etc in a move that would've been a preview of the new schedule which isn't going to happen now.

I was so pissed by the end of SNME that I decided not to watch Impact. I was online instead, and paused long enough to see the end of the TV main event. First thing Shannon Moore has to do upon returning to Smackdown is to lose the hair gel holding his retro-mohawk 'do in place. It just isn't him.

Jarrett continues to make mistakes. He needs to have all the heels on the roster not named Samoa Joe answer to him. Why not admit to the viewing audience that you ARE part of TNA Mismanagement, Jingles? Face it, trying to be both HHH & Vinny McPerv wouldn't be much worse than the current sitch, but it'd be a gutsy move to make.

Scott Steiner is back and everything that means. Sirens (at least his signature can go with whatever music he gets), bad promos, not making sense, worse catch phrases and pride in muscles that make people cringe or fear for his health.

I liked Larry Zbysko defining that “TNA Management” is the owning organization and he and the nonexistent championship committee are the ones calling the TNA shots. It’s not going to stop all the whining, but I felt like something was done.

Joe is none too happy about being a former champion. I’m with Larry though; it’s time for the big man to move on. I know “it’s not about weight limits…” but I don’t like seeing big guys in the X Division—it just doesn’t feel right.

I don’t see why Sonjay was given another chance at Team USA. He may be an American citizen, but he is still announced as being from India. I believe in previous years the team was Team NWA. I could buy Dutt on that team.

Simon Diamond at the White Sox camp was fine. With Ozzie and the chair shot, hopefully this is over now.

3D singing “Oh Canada” was actually pretty funny. Best part of the night aside from maybe the main event.

And our weekly Abyss squash did what it always does. “Ooh look how big the monster Abyss is!!!1” The promo James Mitchell just a little bit later great as it always was. WCW really screwed up when they let him go all those years ago. He was able to sell Mortis! That didn’t so much happen afterwards

I think it’s great that he’s got a part in a movie, but Christian has had much less of an iMPACT! impact since he became the Champion. I want to see him carrying the show. And if TNA doesn’t think he can do that and they don’t realize they are sorely mistaken, then the belt needs to be put on someone else.

So Sharkboy actually won a match? Didn’t see that one coming. I have no real idea who Machete is other than he replaced Apolo for reasons I don’t know, so I find I don’t care about his ejection.

Tons of multi-man tag main events these days. I liked this one and it showcased a lot of good TNA stars in it. Daniels didn’t even have the belt did he? I assume this was taped before?

Ya know, the “six sides of steel” is impressive, but other than maybe being taller, it’s just a cage match. It’s only six sides because the ring has six sides. I’m looking very much forward to the match next week, but it’s not quite that special.

Did the COMPLETELY blow the 3 Live Kru breakup or what?

Nobody delivers a promo quite like Scott Steiner. I liked it just because it was so ridiculous, but it's not something I needed to see. I don't understand why TNA had to bringing Steiner. He's not a draw and there roster's already too large.

So Larry Zbyszko is in control and he's not going to give Samoa Joe a rematch for the X Division Championship. I look forward to seeing Joe mix it up with the heavyweights, but what an anticlimactic way to end his feud with Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles.

The triple threat X Division match was solid but way too short. At least the finish was kind of cool.

Yeah, I don't care about the Chicago White Sox or Simon Diamond. I wonder how you use Photoshop to edit videos...

Abyss wins a squash match... wow, never seen that before.

Wait, how did Abyss become the number one contender?

I was surprised to see Shark Boy & Norman Smiley win a match, but it turns out it was just an excuse to get rid of Machete. No big loss there.

The main event was a good match, but in the end seemed kind of pointless since only half of the wrestlers involved were feuding with each other.

No problem. I would have put it up earlier, but I thought you might show up during the show.
