The Huntsman

These aired earlier today so in accordance with what I’ve been doing, I decided I would make a Talkback thread to at least express my thoughts on the episodes, as well as to give others the opportunity to express their thoughts as well. I’m keeping the summaries more simple this time though; I don’t really see the need to post the huge summaries I’ve been posting, since these topics seldom get replies.
Episode Summaries
You’ve Got Snail: When Brandy and Mr. Whiskers get into a dispute with a cruel neighbor of theirs who just happens to be a snail, Brandy decides to take drastic measures in order to get the snail to move away from the tree where they live.
The Magic Hour: When Gaspar finds some ancient socks that grant him unspeakable power, he forces the creatures of the Amazon to pay him tribute at the risk of being modified by his powers. However, Brandy discovers that Mr. Whiskers has the magical knowledge to challenge Gaspar, though the problem is that Mr. Whiskers is now afraid of magic due to a prior accident during a performance.
My Thoughts; Spoilers, I Suppose
These episodes weren’t the best episodes of Brandy & Mr. Whiskers I’ve seen, though I really did enjoy my experience watching both of these episodes. There were enough entertaining scenes in both of the episodes to keep me interested; I enjoyed seeing Brandy mock Gaspar for his socks in ‘The Magic Hour’, though I believe ‘You’ve Got Snail’ could have been somewhat better, despite the fact that I loved the running gag with the snail slime. Regardless, these episodes are on par with the rest of the series and I feel they are noteworthy for their quality, so I believe most fans of the series should enjoy watching these episodes.
