So I was surfing over at CBR, and a poster was making an argument that the Ultimates was the most influential comic/series of the 00's (current decade). Now while we won't have a definitive answer until the decade is over, I thought it would be interesting to get everyone's take on what comic has been most influential so far.
Off the top of my head, two possibilities are:
Ultimate Spiderman -- this was the title that launched Marvel's insanely popular Ultimate line of titles, as well as launching Brian Bendis to the stratosphere.
Identity Crisis -- this was the marking post in DC's massive tone shift to a darker universe. The events of Infinite Crisis and 52/OYL can all trace roots to this series.
Those are just two possibilities. In all honesty, I'm not sure what the most influential series is. So what do you guys think?
