Do you think this will be another forgotten elseworlds story like Spiderman 2099, or will the memory Batman Beyond remain strong enough for a possible return? Maybe they make another cartoon 20 or 30 years from now that retells the orgins and such and they acknowledge it as official instead of elseworlds.. Now I liked Batman Beyond, But I'm not too sure if that would happen or if I'd want it to, but if a time ever comes when they age the heros enough that BB and JLU could come into play...should they let it happen or do somthing else?

It didn't really have one. That's what got everybody upset.

oh gee...that sinks
what was the last episode?
like a cliffhanger?
what happened??
and yes, i think there is possibility for the series being "offical"
it was well thought out, compared to spidey 2099, this was much better
in a way, X-men evolution is kinda like it, in that classic heros are being shown as teens
anyway, since there is so link to the past in the series, and that it even showed a newer future Justice League i think it has a very good ground to get it going again
Perhaps the next story line could be something like...
Terry has taken the role of Batman for a while, but with the coming of college he has decided that he can no long take on the responsibility
Bruce warns him that he can not deny a destiny he has choosen, but he dosen't listen
years later, while he is away at college and about to graduate, things in gotham are stirring up
Files of the virus that turned Powers into Blight are found and a huge lawsuit is filed against Wayn Corps.
Terry's mother is chosen as one of the witnesses, in hopes of stoping this, Power/Blight and his men go out to kill her
Bruce knowing Blight's plains wants to warn Terry, but can not contact him, with no other solution, he dawns the suit of Batman once more, in an atempt to save Terry's remaining family
Yet, by now he is much older, very old and in his last battle, both him and Terry's family are killed
Terry coming home and finding all this, it leaves him bitter and alone
Once again, powered by the need or revenge, he finally takes on the suit of batman and comes back from college devoting his life to defending what he and bruce believe in
what do u guys think?
its' sketchy but decent, don't cha think?

It could work probably a bit too much for the standards of kids wb or cartoon network. Blight didn't die btw. He resurfaced in the comic book. Terry never believed that Blight died either he just stopped showing up on the show.

I don't believe Blight is dead either. I would just love to see a Return of Blight movie.

yes, but that was the show, if you remember they never found his body, he returned in the animated comic, but I don't know if he died, as I have never read the comic.

As the wise bald one once said-Death for mutants is less like the pearly gates and more like a revolving door.
(Y' Know. Or something pretty close to that)

Bringing Blight back would be a great premise for a DTV... after all, he was Terry's greatest villian, in terms of both menace and sheer presence. Sigh, the dreams...

I would love to have seen at least one more season of BB concentrating on an older Terry, but I heard that they MAY do more direct-to-tape movies depending on the response to the unedited BB:ROTJ. Let's hope......
