Did anyone like or dislike Dr. Octopus' German accent in Spider-Man TAS?

I actually liked it, it's how I always hear his voice these days

I like it, before I used to awlays imagine Doc Ock talking like that. However after Spider Man 2, everytime I think Doc Ock I think Alfred Molina. I even drew a picture of Doc Ock and it's just basically Molina.

Doctor Octopus had an german acent in the english version of Spiderman TAS?
Dammit another thing we miss here in germany (i am german surpris surpris.).
Its the same with Kurt Wagner (nightcrawler) from X-men.
The series curently runs here and what should i say he completly suns like everyone else (however i have to say the voice actors also removed all acents from the characters here).

I have always thought, that channels should use only subtitles. Thatīs whatīs wrong with russian and german channels - they donīt think about foreigners, who donīt understand or like (russian language - dumbest language in my opinion) their language.

I like Spiderman TAS version of Dr.Octopus most, cause this was my first introduction to him. Movie version is the second best and every other version lacks. I also liked his voice, but I never understood that the voice was in any accent. I always call him Dr.Octopus, I hate the name Doc Ock.

I never liked the idea of Dr. Octopus having having a German accent. For the longest time,I imagined him sounding like Micheal Bell's protrayal of him from Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends.

Spiderman TAS was my introduction to the spider franchise... Even after the movie, that accent is still how I think of him. And I like it.

Well, given his name (Otto Octavius) it's not really a stretch to say he wasn't American to begin with.

Plus he was voiced by Efrem Zimbalist jr....he was an evil Alfred!
