Just a few questions on the status of the DVDs:
- are the rights aquired for the first 13 episodes so that Funimation may release them?
- after the Uncut DVDs are released, are they going to go back and re-do anything else?
- are there any plans for any complete sets in the future?
I haven't read much about the DVD releases because I am waiting for ALL of it to be done so that I can buy it without having to wait for anything else to be done. Thanks.

-I think Funimation are still waiting for TriMark's license of thsoe episodes (the Ocean Group dub version) to expire before they release those on DVD
-What else is there to re-do?, I think DB/Z/GT has been milked for all tt's worth by Funimation at this point
-Not that I know of, I'd ask Lance on the Ask A Funimation Rep thread about this

Well, I posted a thread in the Toonami forum about this. Basically, Kidmark has the distribution license forever and FUNi is trying to work a way to bring Season 1 out here in America(like sharing profits with Lions Gate, who own Kidmark). Season 1 is out in Australia.

It would be great if they'd just let up :/. Why must they continually piss fans off by doing this? I'm sure no one is even buying the damn set now.

Ummm, did you misread what I wrote? I was referring to the Kidsmark/Trimark set, not the possible Funi one.

Well, you could've worded it a little better. He made an easy mistake, that's all.
Anyway, from what I hear over at the Daizenshuu EX boards, FUNimation is apparently in negotiations with TriMark/I don't care on finally giving these episodes a proper release, so we may get an uncut set of 1-13 just yet...
Well, that's my what the all-too optimistic Dragon Ball fan in me says, anyway...

I just want to buy them all at once. I don't like buying something on DVD if has the possibility of being incomplete.

Neither do I, snake, but FUNimation has to tell Trimark that!
And knowing Trimark, they'll demand a very, very large cut of the profits...possibly to the point that it would piss off FUNimation.
But if the deal does fall through, you bet your boots I'll be picking this set up!

Either that or the Dragon Box is looking mighty tempting.

Good luck finding the thing for a price less than an arm, a leg, and your first born.
I want to get all of Dragonball on DVD eventually, so this is good news.
