yes, I've seen the trailer a few times, precious moments of my life wasted, lol. It looks like by far the stupidest movie ever. But, what were they thinking with Scary Movie, and Scary Movie Two? and sequels to things like I Know What You Did Last Summer or Scream? or Not Another Teen Movie. What were they thinking...ya see, the thing is, they weren't! At least...that's what I think...

Hmmm, maybe this is one of those movies that was made while high, or something. All these spoofs are slowly grating on what little nerves I have left nowadays. I honestly hope these types of movies stop before they grow totally stale.

As if they haven't already.

The thing about this spoof though is that it seems to have come out of absolutely NO WHERE for such a quick release, and I don't see any names that I know...I think it was hastily made and is really trying to cash in on the kung-fu movies while at least Scary movie was thought out, and probably had a lot more material to work with.

i've seen the previews and i think it looks pretty bad. they are even doing a scence spoofing the matrix, gaaaa im tired of every single movie making fun of the matrix bullet scene, im going to hate reloaded by the time it comes out if this keeps up.

It looks absolutely horrible. I am sure it will tank at the box office, but everybody and their brother will want to rent it when it comes out at the video store.

I think it looks pretty crappy, too. It just looks uninspired and hack. I'm sure it'll make no more than $30 million at the box office, but then be released in an unwarrnated special edition and do mediocre business there, too. I a big fan of martial arts flicks but this just looks...ugh...

Hey, nice Ambush Bug avatar!

I read somewhere that Kung Pow was some martial arts movie from the 70's or 80's with stuff added on the top of it. I hope that made sense. Anyway, that could make people want to rent it.

>gags< The first Scary Movie was pretty funny, I'll admit. The second one sucked like a hoover though. I walked out halfway through the movie and took a nap in the car. I must say, I enjoyed the hour I slept far more than the hour I wasted watching that craptastic adventure.

And now they're making a THIRD?

God help us all.

Thus we see how Hollywood works. A particular type of movie does really well (in this case, Scary Movie), and then every studio does similar movies until the entire genere is beaten into the ground.

The only people who should be allowed to create spoofs are the ones who were behind Airplane!/Naked Gun. Scary Movie had its moments but was overall more interested in making people puke than laugh. This new spoof is going to suffer from an equally bad curse: awful timing.
