What adult 80's animated musical do you prefer the most?

Pink Floyd used to frighten me because I saw clips of the film when I was six, I think. But when I watched and listened to it much later in life, I found that I really enjoyed it.

I've never seen American Pop.

I've never heard of American Pop or seen The Wall (Have the album, though), but Pink Floyd wins this one just for showing up.

An interesting fact: The art director for The Wall, Gerald Scarfe, did the designs for Disney's Hercules.

I actually prefer American Pop mostly because it had a cohesive story, some great animation and a motivational soundtrack.

The Wall has some very nice animation and memorable soundtrack, but I found the story to be too pornographic in the subtext and meanings.

Well, I'm a damn huge Floyd fan... I started listening at the young age of 3 years old due to my older brothers... And I have never since stopped listening. Anyways, The Wall for sure.

I love all the imagery and symbolism in The Wall. The animation in the film is fantastic, it was so before it's time and unconventional. And it helps that it's based on one of the best albums by one of the best bands of all time.

Havent seen American Pop, but I really want to.
