Just picked up X-Men #182 & #183.

What happened to Sunfire's legs?

What is the status of Roberto DaCosta - Sunspot?

What happened to Sunfire's legs? They were severed from his body during a battle with Lady Deathstryke in Rogue's now canceled solo book. It was suggested that he died after Rogue absorbed his powers while he was on his deathbed, but clearly that wasn't the case.


What is the status of Roberto DaCosta - Sunspot? He recently became the Black King of the Hellfire Club, in order to keep an "eye" on the group after Sebastian Shaw was deposed. However, his status is up in the air at this point; Whedon got control of all Hellfire plots for Astonishing X-Men, which pretty much put a nix on Claremont's plans for Sunspot and the group.

Which kind of sucks as it was the one good part of Claremont's Uncanny run. Probably because it tied in a lot with his X-Treme run, which was good.

In what issues could I see Sunfire get amputated & a story with Sunspot? The last time I say Sunspot in the comics was when he was ReignFire.

Well, Sunspot lost his legs in Rogue's solo book. So my guess is that you should look for the "Rogue - Forget Me Not" trade paperback.

So sunspot is dead? I believed he I don't know was resurrected somehow. I have that issues but I never tought it was permanent. So Rogue still has the powers of Sunspot?

No. Sunfire and Sunspot are two different characters. Rogue absorbed Sunfire's powers, but he's now one of Apocalypse's new Horsemen.

No, Sunspot's a Hellfire club member, Sunfire is a Horseman.

Yikes. I can't believe I made that mistake, and that it came back to bite me in the rear 2 months later.
