I've recently bought this game, played it for a day and TRADED it next day, man how could they screw it up? the story was really promising not to mention having acess to all batman's gadgets but the gameplay SUCKS, I mean when you do a stealth game you HAVE to do a camera system like in MGS right? well here for some reason they went with a RE style camera  . The cinemas are awesome and so is the orchestra but all that is pointless when the gameplay sucks (and not just the *stealth* eveything else is hard). This could have been the greatest batman game ever but instead it became a monumental turd. anyone has any thoughts on this?

It's a very broken game, yet strangely enough I had fun. The only section where I really felt the game bordered on impossible was the Black Mask fight in the warehouse. Everything else was tedious but acceptable.
I'm in no rush to beat it again, but now that I have I can watch all the kick-ass cinematics. And like you said, they're awesome. Who knows when we'll see Zsasz, Scarface, Oracle, and the Cassandra Cain Batgirl again in 3D.

Oh man, I remember being so excited when the title was first announced. Then I heard early reviews saying it was a stinker. So I never tried it and according to everyone who has played it, I don't think I missed out much. I wish Activision would get the Batman license.

Batman: dark tomorrow, biggest letdown everYou haven't played very many Batman games, have you? They're (for the most part) all letdowns.

I thought Vengeance (PS2/XBOX/GCN) and Sin Tzu (PS2/XBOX/GCN) were pretty fun. Nothing to write home about, but they had their moments.
But yeah, Dark Tomorrow was a giant pile of horse crap. I'm not touching that game.

Dark Tomorrow sucks. My God, it's horrible. I honestly would've prefered to have had someone put dog crap on a stick. Soak the crap in kerosene. Set fire to the kerosene soaked dog crap. Then chase me down the streets screaming fowl obscenities at me. (That's also my opinon of Loonatics Unleashed.) But yeah, that game sucks. Nice cinematics though.

I don't know why but Batman on NES has always been my favorite Batman game since I was 6. Then it was The Adventures of Batman & Robin on Genesis.

Try before you buy,but if you got it from EB\Gamestop you could've given back for equal credit or atleast thats how it used to work. This is off-topic but is still good advice,or it is in my opinion.:D

PRIMER TIME!
Good Batman Games:
Batman (NES)
Batman - Return of the Joker (NES)
Batman Returns (SNES)
The Adventures of Batman and Robin (Genesis, SNES)
Mediocre Batman Games:
Batman: The Caped Crusader
Batman: The Movie (Various home computer systems)
Batman Returns (Genesis, Sega CD, Game Gear, Nes)
Batman & Robin (PSX)
Batman Rise of Sin Tzu
Batman (Arcade)
Batman Vengeance
Batman Forever (Arcade)
Batman: Return of The Joker (Every other version that was released)
Batman (GB)
Awful Batman Games
Batman Forever (consoles)
Batman Begins
Batman Dark Tommorow
Surprisingly the Dark Knight has had a better track record than any of his fellow DC heroes.

Batman begins? granted the game was really linear but still it's the best batman game that has been released in a while

I rented Batman Begins. The presentation was awesome but the gameplay was beyond linear. Linear is having one set path to follow through a level. Beyond linear is when every single gameplay step is spelled out for you, and scripted elements are given a bad name.
The best ones I've played are Batman Returns and Adventures of Batman and Robin for SNES.
The Genesis version of "Adventures" wasn't really Batman but had some grueling gameplay. The same could be said for most of the early Batman games, but I haven't played those in depth. I did like the Batman: The Movie game for Genesis though.
Batman Forever for SNES/Genesis wasnt bad....just boring. Mortal Kombat in Batman clothing, without the cool finishers.
Vengeance did nothing for me. Gameplay-wise its technically better than dark tomorrow, but I couldn't stand it. And the TNBA style makes for a boring 3D world. Sin Tzu was better, just repetitive.
